Unhappy with tyre size and battery performance - Bajaj Pulsar NS160 user Abdullah Al Asif
I think that motorbike is the only vehicle that can provide the top most charm in the road travel. From the same point of view, I choose motorcycle to enjoy my road journey. My name is Abdullah Al Asif and today I am here to introduce my review as MotorcycleValley invite me to share my my review with “Bajaj Pulsar NS 160”. it is good to mention that, before this bike, I was used to with Dayun 135, Dayun Panger 150, Bajaj Platina, Apache RTR 150 and currently I am using “Pulsar DTSI 150” and “Pulsar NS 160”. the main reason to purchase :Bajaj Pulsar NS 160”, is its exciting outlook and modern technology. This is the first one in Bangladesh which has technology in its engine “Oil cool DTS- I 160cc”.
I have purchased this one on 5th of February 2018 and I have ridden 3000+ kilometers. Engine is pretty smooth and don't become hot so easily. I feel a little while stuck in the middle of traffic. Same time, I don't measure any bad noise so far. Its acceleration is very fast.
as because this one has the design of Naked Sport by which this one is quite amazing to look. Specially the aggressive look of the headlight make it more excellent to look. Carve on the fuel tank enhance the design of this bike in a large number. As because this has the aerodynamic design and for this reason, this bike takes a very short time to pick up the high speed. Plastic parts on the body are very much strong which don't get any scratch or broke in light damage.
At first the seating position seem to be hard and rough but the flow of time, it is now ok and fine. As because my height is 5' 8” by which I don't feel any irritation to sit on the seating position. But those people who are under 5'4”, they may face some trouble. Seating position is comfortable enough. I feel back pain after running 100/110 kilometer per hour inside the city. But no irritation in the hands while in the high speed. No pain in the hands or in the shoulder but I feel pain in my back after running 100 kilometer at a straight. Switches are just fine and easy to use. The switches have the LED light by which I don't feel any trouble to use those even in the night. Headlamps light is sharp enough to have the clear view. I have picked up the top speed of 123 kilometer per hour with pillion and 134 kilometer per hour without pillion. Same time, I have ridden 140 kilometer a day. So far I have measured my bike, I don't feel anything negative in the long ride.
If you pull the break in over emergency basis then there is a chance skidding in the rear wheel but pretty smooth in the normal breaking. Suspensions are fine but I can sense shaking of the rough road.
This one serving me the mileage of 38/40 kilometer in the Cities and 46/47/48 kilometer per liter.
I sense some problem in the servicing center and for this reason I can't be satisfied 100% with the service of the servicing center. Their behavior and and working environment is pretty good but working quality is not up to the mark.
By considering its service, I think that its price is just OK but its really hurtful to have problem in the battery.
At the last I can mention that, Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 don't put me in depression.
My advice to the company is, to change the tyre, change the size of the tyre and same time the ABS breaking system as well as the battery issue.
