Bajaj Pulsar NS160 8000km riding review by AR Mubassir
Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 is the name of love. I have already given review about my NS and now my odometer is about to touch 8 thousand km so, I thought I should again tell something about its performance. That’s why I have come here to share my 8 thousand km riding experience with you. I wish you will stay till the end of my review.
Let me first start with the engine the main part of a bike. The performance of the engine becomes smoother than before. Few days ago the tapit of engine become loose but I repair it. I changed the air filter once. Because of my busy schedule I don’t get the chance to go for a long tour but I drive in the city and after cross little distance engine performs like butter.
After crossing 80 km bike becomes smoother and at that time it increases self-confidence more. There is no vibration and the response of the engines throttle is very good. It takes very few times to go one place to another if it gets smooth road.
Now I’m going to tell about design and the built quality how it is now than before. By the grace of Allah still I don’t get any design related problem. Telling about built quality I saw others that the nuts of many points became lose only for the lake of good service but I take care of my red elf as much as I can that's why it's chassis and built quality is still in good condition.
The light of the headlamp is still like before.
Never face any trouble to control it but sometimes the rear wheel skids but the best part is that though wheel skids but it never loses its control. The main cause of skid is its thin rear wheel.
Many people said that the break of NS’s rear wheel doesn’t perform well but when I ride in the city I only use rear brake.
The rear suspension is very easy. Telling about other bikes suspension whenever it goes through rough road we notice a fraction between the lower part of the sit and the wheel but in the case of NS160 though its suspension is very easy but there is no friction between sit and the wheel.
Now I drive roughly that's why I don’t get that mileage which I got before. In my previous review I told that I get almost 50 kmpl but now I get 45-50. It is totally my fault because now I drive very rough and tuff. I believe if I keep the RPM under 5 I will again get 50 kmpl.
I service my bike from Uttara motors authorized servicing center and I really appreciate their behavior and their work environment.
At last I want to advice that, it may create some problem for its sit height to those whose height is not good. Otherwise you will not going to face any other problem.
