Bajaj Pulsar NS160 user review by ASM Asif
As salamu alaikum, my name is A S M Asif and currently I am a student. Today I am here to share my experience with my “Bajaj Pulsar NS 160” and I hope my experience will be helpful enough for those people who are already become serious about this bike.
I had learned to ride bike through “Bajaj XCD 125” and just after learn to ride bike, I become a bike lover. It is better to mention that, I have used 2 bike just before purchase my Pulsar NS 160 and those bikes were Bajaj Pulsar UG 4 and UG 5. you can utter me as a fan Bajaj why because, from the starting of my bike riding, I have a weakness towards Bajaj's bike and from this point of view today I am an owner of Pulsar NS 160. Its been almost 3 months since I am using this one and ridden near around 2000 kilometers.
The key reason to purchase this bike is its exceptional stylish design. This one looks like heavily muscular, excellent color combination, nice structure, seating position, graphics and it is really has a nice combination on its overall view. I will declare this bike as one of the excellent bike in the market on the matter of look.
On the question about the build quality of this bike? I think my Pulsar NS 160 is far better then any other bikes and I hope my bike will support me a long time.
Engine performance in a word is just super. As because the Engine is oil cooled by which, it doesn't become hot so easily and don't even any bad noise. Its throttle response is pretty good and it can pick up the exact speed in exact RPM. I have picked up the top speed of 125 kilometer per hour. To be frank about the feeling then? I hardly feel any vibration.
Riding seat is very nicely comfortable. Meanwhile, I never feel any problem to touch the ground from the seating position. But those rider whose height is under 5' 6” they might face difficulties to touch the ground. Same time, I have noticed that whenever I ride my bike for a long time, I feel irritation even on my hands. I have ridden my bike near about 150 kilometers a day and I felt the following problems.
Electrical switches are pretty nice and clean and I never feel anything negative to use those. I have found the headlight is very much sharp to have the clear view of the front specially for the halogen bulb.
But I am not happy with the breaking system and I think it would have been much better. Why because to control a bike like this one, it have to be a high class breaking system. Front one is fine enough but rear one should updated or switch to the disc break.
Tyres size is thinner from the others bike of the same segment but its grip and balance is really praiseworthy. I hardly feel any skidding so far even on the emergency situations.
Front wheel has the Telescopic and rear one has monoshock suspension which ensure the comfortable ride and hardly let me feel any shake of the rough road.
I am completely happy and tension free on the matter of mileage as because I am having the exact mileage that showroom inform me while purchasing this one. Currently I am having the mileage of 45 kilometer per liter even more. I don't have anything to say about the mileage of my bike.
I generally serve my bike from the company's servicing center. They are very fast in their work and I notice their lack on their work. As like bike wash. Beside these, their working environment and equipment are good in number.
Price of Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 is good one in my view why because I think it is really rare to have such bike in this price range when to talk about its features, looks and performance.
Only one matter of my bike is negative to me and its the thin rear wheel. Ignoring this, I don't find anything negative in my bike.
My advice to the company is, they should make a process to serve bike according to the choice of customers. I mean, on the matter of color and this one is going to be unique idea if the company can go with this system.
If 200cc got the road permit in Bangladesh then I wish to have Bajaj Pulsar 200cc in future. I just become a fan of Pulsar.
