Satisfied with my bike – Bajaj Pulsar NS160 user Sabbir Sawon
At first I want to mention the names of those bikes I had used so far. Somehow I was used to with TVS Apache RTR, Suzuki Gixxer and currently I am using Bajaj Pulsar NS 160cc. Today I am here to share my opinion and experience with my Bajaj Pulsar NS 160cc and before I start to say about my bike, it is good to introduce myself first. My name is Sabbir Sawon and currently my main duty is to study. When I am here to introduce my bike Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 then it is good to mention a line that I have ridden this one near around 2300 kilometer. It helps me nicely to ride this one with pillion or single or even in the rough road condition. In a word, this one is some like my horse with which I can travel anywhere I want. Today I am to tell my story with you guys. The main reason to choose this one because of its price, look, chassis, mileage and the speed. All these in just 2 lakh BDT which is something like amazing in my view. Here I am going to start to say my words about Bajaj Pulsar NS 160cc.
As to say about the Engine I will say that Bajaj’s engine is famous for a long time and my bikes engine pretty good from my view. It is oil cooled, single cylinder and 4 strokes which never put me in trouble when I am on the road with it. I never feel anything like over heating or any bad sound and I have picked up the high speed of 115 kilometer per hour along with pillion.
I have mentioned in the top that its design is just favorite one to me. Its necked design somehow looks like a giant and when I am riding this one, it is more than a giant. Meanwhile, perimeter chassis is been used in this bike which gives it structure a strong shape and ultra modern look. Same time, the others body parts of this one is pretty strong from my view as I didn’t noticed or sensed anything negative in those. I think those are going to be durable enough. I am happy to say that, in the price range of 2 lakhs, this one is the best one among all.
This bikes seating position is pretty soft and split seat. As because its split seat, this one is quite comfortable to ride with pillion without any major negative cause. Although the height of the seating is high but I never feel any trouble to control it. I have noticed that, even after long ride with this bike, I don’t sense any back pain, wrist pain or any type irritation so this is can be said that this one is somehow perfect for the long ride. On the other hand, there is a perfect combination of the seating position and the handlebar.
Breaking and the Suspension
Disc brake in the front and drum brake in the rear wheel enhanced my confident to stop this one but it would have been better in the both wheel have disc brake. But in the current condition of the brakes, I never feel any hesitation to stop it ignoring the matter of situation. Same time for the mono shock suspension of this bike, I am having the comfortable riding through this one. Both of its suspension works excellently.
Although the tyre is thin but it has nice balance by which I don’t yet sense any skidding in those.
Company/showroom informs me that this will serve the mileage of 40 kilometer per liter but it is amazing that I am having the mileage of 45 -48 kilometers per liter.
It’s all electrical features are just fine enough to me but its AHO technology which put the headlight always on is not good to me at all. But the headlamp light is quite good in all the parts. Switches have their own light by which it is easy to find them in night. By considering all the electrical features, I am having well enough support from those.
As to say about the price of this bike by considering its look, design, chassis and mileage? It is just perfect. I will say that, if you have a budget of 2 lakh then you better be serious about this one.
I have felt its vibration but it far less than the RTR and the most negative thing I have found in this bike is it does not has the double disk brake why because, it is necessary control such giant and my advice to the company is to set the disk brake in the both wheel.
If I purchase or change my bike in future then I will choose Honda CBR.
