Suzuki Gixxer SF user review by Asaduzzaman Hamim


My name is Asaduzzaman Hamim and I am basically a student. My current location is in Laxmipur area of Rajshahi city. I use my own bike and my current bike is Suzuki Gixxer SF 150cc. It is not so long since I am using this one purchased this one, just 2.5 months. As because I love to ride bike, my bike already traveled near around 2220 kilometers in these 2 months or so. I was used to with 2/3 bikes before having this one and those bikes are TVS Metro, RTR 150, Dayang 100 etc. Suzuki Gixxer SF is much more comfortable than these bike.

The main reason to purchase this bike is, its out look which is pretty exciting in my view. Same time, this one is just a latest bike and its every features made according to the flow of time. As because this one a sports bike by which it has an extra attraction same time, brand origin is Japan by which no doubt about the quality. By considering all these, I don't waste any time or didn't let me think anymore. Just purchase this one as my personal motorcycle. There is no special cause to work with it. Just to made my way easy on the road. As I have mentioned in the top, I have ridden this one 2220 kilometers in the last 2 months.

Its design is quite good in my view, you can say this is the key part of this bike by which I choose this one. When I am on the road with my bike, so many people gazing toward me and my bike and from this point of view, I can measure the design quality of my motorcycle. Meanwhile, parts of my bike are strong enough to say but I have doubt on the plastics over its body and I think those are going to broke in just lite clash or fall.

I am having good Engine performance of my Suzuki Gixxer SF. It does not become hot so easily. I sensed a serious noise when I was riding my bike and I thought this sound is coming from the Engine but the technician informs me that the noise was coming from the chain set. This relieve me from the tension is a serious way. It is just like unbelievable for me found problem in the Engine which is made in Japan. I don't yet feel any problem to pick up the exact speed and so far, I have picked up the top speed of 110 kilometer per hour. I hope this bikes Engine going to perform better in the high quality Engine oil.

I always enjoy a lot whenever I ride this one why because, this bike has some good features like seating position is pretty soft, no problem to sit over it. No problem to touch the ground from the seating position and I never feel any problem or tiredness even after riding this one for a long time. I have ridden my bike 130 kilometer a day and high speed was 110 kilometer per hour. In this speed or run, I can't sense any irritation in my hands or can't sense any vibration even no pain in my hands or back. Switches on the handlebar are not so hard and for this reason, I always feel comfortable to use those. I hardly ride my bike in night but I sense that headlamp light is less or something like so but my friends says that its light range is good enough to have the clear view.

I don't yet made any long journey with my motorcycle and this is the reason I can't mention anything about this point. Even then I think, this bike will be painful in the long tour. Mono suspension play the key role in the long ride. This one serve the exact comfort to the rider.

My motorcycles breaking system is really charming. As because this one has double hydraulic breaking system which ensures the highest safety wherever I am or whatever the situation is. This is exact advantage of having hydraulic breaks. Same time, there is no chance of skidding of wheels. Rear wheel skids politely on the emergency breaking but I think it is normal in all the bikes.

I am having pretty good mileage currently, just a little lower from the showroom information. 40 – 45 kilometers inside the city and when outside of the city, it serve me the mileage of 50 – 55 kilometers per liter.

Service center is pretty good in working environment and their behavior as well but their working quality is not so satisfactory.
As to comment on the matter of price of my bike? I think it is little high according to its quality and performance. If company reconsider the price, I think they are going to have better selling rate.

Headlamps sharpness would enhance the enjoyment of riding in the night if the headlights light would have been little more sharper then it is. Same time, its gear shifting seems to hard while switching to the next. It would have been much better to have it smooth. I am not advising to the company rather I am claiming that, Suzuki Gixxer SF could a perfect sports bike in the 150cc segment of the this one has CBS breaking system.

I hope company going to make the exact steps to make it perfect. I wish to have V3 in future.
