My name is MD. Anayem Hossain Shohag and I am a regular motorcycle user. In my life I have purchased two motorbikes for my own and they are Walton Fusion 110 CC and now at present my Yamaha Fazer 2014 model. This bike is like my heart beat. From my childhood I was passionate about motorcycles, but because of my family restrictions I have to purchase my first bike without informing my family.

I have learned bike riding with my own first bike. One of my closest friends Imran Hossain Robin taught me how to ride bikes and I will always be pleasant to him. After using that bike for six months I sold that bike.

At the year 2014 I made my mind and decided to purchase a white and red Yamaha Fazer, it was November when I took the decision. On that time my chosen color was not available. Because of this reason I ordered for that bike to almost every showroom at Dhaka. After one month I went for regular search for my bike and saw Red and white Fazer at Kakrail, the showroom name was American motors and the day was 11/12/2014. I can’t get hold of myself and I gave Taka 500 to the showroom owner so that he cannot sell the bike to other person and also asked for one hour time to bring money for buy that bike.

Within one hour I went to my house and returned with TK300000, pay the money and took much awaited bike home.

My bike price was TK 260000; registration fee was TK 25000, other things like fuel, helmet, engine oil etc costs me TK 6000. My total cost for the bike was TK 291000.

Reason to buy this bike:
I have already ridden many bikes and also took test drives but after I drive my cousins Yamaha Fazer my mind was set and I made a promise to my own that whenever I will have a bike again it will be Fazer. Because this bike is very comfortable, smooth engine sound and also has good controlling. Without that I have to go for many places for my job purpose and love bike riding so I pay the money for this bike and take hold of it.

My bike details while using:
Total ride: till now this bike has gone 30000 Kilometers path. Almost driven by me, without any major cause I didn’t allow anyone to ride my bike.
Engine oils:
First 1.5 years/ 16000 KM I used Castrol 20W 40, next three months /5000 KM I used Havoline 20W 40, next two month/ 3000 KM I have used Yamaha LUB 20W 40 and after that till now I am using Havoline 20W 40, grade engine oil for my bike. Using Havoline I have got the best performance. After every 25000 KM I have change the engine oil filter and after 7000 KM changed the air filter.

Changes: For once chain sprocket set, two times clutch cables, two times accelerator cable, once the battery, for once the clutch liver are changed at my bike.

Not needed to replace: Still now the spark Plug, tires, and headlights, clutch plates are untouched at my bike.

RPM: My bikes RMP is always set at 1. I didn’t face any starting problem or engine stoppage at the riding period.

Fuel cost: Alhamdulillah I have to 35 KM/L mileage at Dhaka and 42 KM/L mileage outside Dhaka. At present I am getting 29-30 KM/L mileage inside Dhaka and outside Dhaka I am getting 36-38 KM/L mileage. After purchasing this bike I took petrol from only one petrol pump (during on trip I took octane sometimes).

Servicing: For times I have serviced my bike for free though it was not that much necessary. After buying this bike one mechanic fixed my bike for small reasons several times. After every 3000 KM I examine my bike.

Spare parts: At spare parts one engine kit of Apache RTR, rear tire guard and two crew light for extra brightness.

Top speed: My top speed with my bike is 120 KM/H, gopalganj to Bagerhat highway.

Travelling: Alhamdulillah I have travelled 22 districts with my bike though my family didn’t supported me. Dhaka, Narayanganj, Munshiganj, Madaripur, Faridpur, Barishal, Jhalokati, Borguna, Patuakhali, Bagerhat, Gopalganj, Comilla, Chandpur, Narsingdi, Bramhanbaria, Habiganj, moulabhibazar, Gazipur, Tangail, Shirajganj. Insha Allah I will travel al the districts of our country.

Every motorcycle contains both good sides and the bad sides. Just like that I am sharing few of those based on my riding experience with my bike (it may vary with others).

Good sides:
1. Very comfortable and it is perfect for long journeys.
2. Outstanding controlling, it is very safe at the high ways. Though the bike is on 100 KM/H speed you won’t feel the vibration.
3. Outlooks are attractive to all. This bikes color doesn’t go away that easily. After 2.5 years I am having a new bike almost.

Bad sides:
1. Ground clearance is shorter that’s why it can get hit at the high speed brakes.
2. This bike took time to be on speed.
3. I am done, hah ha-ha ha.

Accidents: unfortunately I have faced an accident. At the 300feet road, opposite of Kazi food my bike was at 20/22 KM/H sped and because of that I am alright till now.

Planning’s: for better performance I will change the tires as early as possible and I am also thinking of to place new iridium plug.

Verdict: Alhamdulillah I am satisfied with my bike. I am hoping for the prayer of all so that I can ride safely.

Suggestion: I have a request to all, please wear helmet, carry driving license and necessary papers always and follow the looking glass for your own safety. Your life is much precious then your money.
