Biking is a word that is very favorite to me. I like to ride my bike around different places. I like the bike so much that I bought the Keeway RKS v3 bike with my tuition money. I have been riding bike for almost many years now. I basically ride bikes to get around my needs and roaming around. After using the Keeway RKS v3 bike for a long time, I am currently using the Yamaha FZS v3. I like this FZS v3 bike very much because its muscular design, ABS braking, modern features are all present in this bike.
My name is MD. Farhad, a student by profession. I feel the need for motorcycles for both my tuition and hobbies. I have been using Yamaha FZS v3 for the last 3 months. In these 3 months I have ridden a total of 3500 km. Today I will share this 3500 km riding experience with you and I want to Thank MotorcycleValley for giving me the opportunity to share my review with you.
The design in one word I would say is awesome. I like the design of this bike more than other 150cc bikes. The design as well as the build quality seemed very strong and durable. I like the bike in all aspects of color combination, design, build quality. And the looks in front of it are very aggressive.
I don't feel tired when I ride the bike for a long time because its seating position is very comfortable and the combination of handlebars with seating position is great. I felt very comfortable from the bike by riding 300 km continuously. No problem with switches yet.
The weight of the bike, the seat height all together I get much better control. I have reached a top speed of 117 km per hour. I had the opportunity to pick more speed but the roads of our country are not so suitable to ride a bike in the top speed for long.
The braking system is much better and the suspension gives much less shaking. The tires are thick and the tire grips seem to be of good enough quality to me. Meanwhile, I get very good support from ABS Braking for road traffic. I can do braking very well in any situation with the help of this ABS braking.
I like the sound of the engine and the performance of the engine is also great. In addition to good engine performance, I also get good mileage. In the city I get mileage of 40 km per liter and on the highway I get mileage of 42 km per liter. I think I am getting better mileage for this FI technology.
I have solved any problem very well by servicing the bikes from the servicing center but they should have a better idea about the technical issues and for this Yamaha should arrange more training for them.
I'm a little dissatisfied with two things about this bike, they are 1. Bike headlamp’s light, 2. Bike engine’s acceleration. When I ride the bike at high speeds on dark highways I notice that the headlamp light is not enough to provide that support. Meanwhile, on the highway, I saw that the acceleration of the bike is low. Overtaking large vehicles requires a lot of acceleration and sometimes it seems risky to me. For now, I have got 2 problems with the bike by riding 3500 km. Besides, I have shared the good aspects of the bike with you in the light of my experience.
I ride an average of 30km a day and I ride mostly in the city. When it comes to riding in the city, I don't think riding this bike is a problem. Yamaha FZS v3 is a very good quality bike. In my opinion, if the price of this bike could be reduced a little more, then the demand for it would increase a lot. Moreover, Yamaha FZS is the best in terms of engine features, modern design, modern features, etc. Everyone will be fine and ride carefully. This was my riding experience with FZS v3.
