Yamaha Fazer Fi user review by Arash Afsarul

Hey guys I am Arash Afsarul and at present I am using Yamaha Fazer Fi 2.0. This bike is the third motorcycle which I am using and gladly saying that I am having comfortable riding experience with my Fazer FI which is far better than my previous bikes. Let me share few of my own experience about this bike.

Firstly I would like to say Riding with pillions is not a problem with this bike. Even at the village or off kind of roads I have got safe and comfortable riding with this bike. Most important thing is there is no back pain issues with this bike at the long journeys and not only that you can have relaxed riding experience at the city roads like DHAKA as well.

Within very short time my bike has completed 4500 kilometer run. I have heard people complaint a lot about FI bike like Chain got loosen, engine color quality, problem with the engine sound, less than 100 KM/H speed but I haven’t seen them at all except the chain problem. Those who say these things are almost new biker and they create these kinds of problems by their own I think. They can’t change the gears properly that’s why engine sound didn’t remain smoother, engines color get rub out because of the paint problem which will not occur at every bike, and most importantly the speed issue, if we compare FI bikes to R15 or CBR than it is completely a foolishness. Because this bike offers 13 max power and 149 cc engine which is lesser than those bikes so how it will give that kind of sped like CBR and R15. I am happy with the engine performance and speed.

I was not concern about the break-in period of my and that’s why after purchasing this bike I made a long journey of 198 Kilometers. My bike was only at 42 kilometers but I traveled 198 kilometer at one day which was Dhaka to Comilla. Not only that two pulsar AS was also a part of that ride and I had speed up my bike onto 112 KM/H speed. Last week I travelled to Maymenshingh and ridden 270 kilometers at one ride. I have got 45-47 KM/L mileage at the highways and 38-40 KM/L mileage at the Dhaka city. One of my brothers named Mrk Sabuz recommended me 10 W 40 grade engine oil and after I used that I have got 126 KM/H top speed with my bike. Over all I am glad with speed and mileage.

Till now I have seen two negative sides of this bike and those are matched with others Fi users. Firstly the chain problem and then the body kit, they are very poor in quality.

I think it took at least 2000-3000 kilometers ride for giving an exact opinion, so those who can’t change the gears right or maintain the bike they will not get smoother engine sound or performance which is truth. And according to me those who want to have ready pick-up bikes Fazer is not the right choice for them. On the whole I am satisfied with its performance according to my need.

All these words are my own saying so I beg of Marcy if any mistake comes about.
