TVS Apache RTR 160 user review by Piarul Khan

Before I say anything about my motorcycle I want to introduce myself. I am MD.Piarul Khan and I do business. The name of my motorcycle is TVS Apache RTR 160. I bought this motorcycle for my personal use.

These days motorcycles are very popular vehicle for all and I also think so because I always have an attraction over bikes. I always wanted to have a good segment motorcycle for myself and that must be good looking. When I first watch this motorcycle at the showroom I liked it so much. On that very moment I decided to buy this motorcycle any how I can. One month back I finally grab this bike for myself from Khan Motors Puthia Rajshahi. After having this motorcycle I didn’t ride that much only 600 kilometers are at the meter count. Today I am here for sharing my experiences, liking or dislikes about this bike which I have gathered within this one month.



Nothing to say especial about the design, because I just love that and the design I really attractive I must say. This bike also becomes my favorite one as well. Though the look is similar as 150cc Apache RTR but few new features are added to this machine. If you observe this bike from distance you cannot find out any dissimilarity. Body plastics are good in quality and for that the overall build quality is durable I think. This perfect build structure makes the overall design attractive.

After purchasing this motorcycle I started to face difficulties with the starting, every morning this bikes engine wasn’t firing up that easily. I haven’t informed this at the service center but within very short time I will visit that place. But it doesn’t mean that I am complaining about the engine. I like the engine performance and till now I haven’t seen any problems. Powerful engine is placed for this motorcycle. I have tested this bikes engine performance on high speed but I didn’t found any lacking or bad performances or any bad noises. No overheating problem or short of power, so what else I need. Just because I am at the break-in period so only speed up this bike up to 60 KM/H speed but I think the performance will remain the same even after crossing this speed. In one day I travelled around 60 Kilometers and my experiences about that long journey was good. Not only in day light I used ride this bike after the sun sate and that experiences of mine is also good enough to express. Headlamp offers excellent light and I can see the roads clearly. Switches placed at the handle bar for the electrical side are easy to use and good looking as well. I never faced any difficulties using them.

If I say about the comfort of this motorcycle then I will say it is really a comfortable one. It has ideal riding seat and pillion seat both. The suspensions are effective in their performance which makes me relaxed even at the broken roads. Not only it is a comfortable but also the controlling is satisfactory. Front side Disc brake and rear drum brake offers excellent braking experiences and using them I can have full control over this bike whenever I need. Tyres are well gripped and they are good looking too. Even at the hard braking time these tyres offers good gripping and for that I don’t have to face skidding problem. Combining all of these I can use this bike comfortably and also have better controlling. So I am satisfied with them both till now.

I have already said that accept one I didn’t found any bigger problems so I didn’t visit the servicing center yet, but I think within a very short time I must pay a visit there.

Last think I want to say about is the mileage. When I purchased this bike from the showroom I was told that this bike will offer me at least 50 KM/l mileage and the most interesting thing is though I am in break-in period but I am getting the same mileage. I never think about the mileage the only thing I care about is the overall performance. Luckily I have that side perfect, so I have no complaints. However the price of this motorcycle is reasonable because I think within this price range I am getting a 160cc bike, I have no expectation more. Thinking about the price range I also get interested to have this bike which I forget to say.

So I am at the ending of my story but I want to say something, if anyone is looking for fast riding then they can definitely choose this bike. Not only the speed but also I am satisfied with the overall engine performance. So this was my one month experiences about my bike.
