I bought the Honda Hornet when it first arrives in Bangladeshi market. The design of this bike attracted me so much. A body shape of a bumblebee can be noticed in this bike, for which it seems to me that it has been named Hornet.

I love to ride bikes and the bike riding is a hobby for me. I have ridden this bike 40,000 km in almost two years. This bike has given me a lot of support along the way. I got and still getting a good service from this bike by the grace of Allah. Starting from the day long tour, I have ridden in the city with this bike. And every street in my area has bike tire imprints of my bike.

After using it for about 2 years, I will talk about what kind of service I am getting from the bike now. Honda has once again proved that it is a quality brand. Really, Honda is no match except Honda.

Below I am sharing 40,000 km riding experience with this bike.

- I said at the beginning that I liked the design very much and the tail lamp is much more beautiful to me than any other bike in Bangladesh. I am satisfied with the design of my blue bumblebee and the build quality of the bike seemed right according to the price. Meanwhile, the color qualities are also very good. I used another stickers and the color of the sticker faded away, but nothing happened to the color of this bike. With the price I am satisfied using the design and build quality of this bike for 40 thousand kilometers.
- The performance of the engine seems to be getting smoother day by day. In the first 6,000 kilometers of this bike, the engine was less free, but the more kilometers, the more the engine become free. And we know that the Honda engine is very smooth. I didn't get any problem with the engine. I only got a little problem with the carburetor after riding 40,000. Besides, the timing chain and valve are all right now. There was no damage to the ring piston. All in all the engine is still fine.
- Seating position is very comfortable. I have ridden 400 kilometers continuously and the seating position has made me feel very comfortable on that ride. The seating position and handlebar are much better, but if you use FZS's handlebars, you will get better feedback.
- Ready pick-up of the engine is not seen, but speed is much more available at the top end. The higher the RPM, the faster the speed increases and towards the end a lot of power is obtained from the engine of the bike, which is very effective on the highway. With this engine I got top speed of 126 KM/H.
- I am getting better mileage. From the beginning I was getting around 50 KM/L and still getting it. Now I am getting 45 km/L in the city and 50 km/ L on the highway. I am getting much better even after riding 40 thousand kilometers that pleased me.
- Honda Hornet is one of the best bikes in this price considering the features and performance. Honda is very perfect in every aspect, so you can get good performance if you do regular service. I have seen other bikes have rapid brake shoe, or other problems, but my bike did not faced such a fast problem. I am satisfied.

In this 40,000 km ride, those things I changed on my bike,

- Chain sprocket for once, which I changed after 20 thousand kilometers.
- Spark plug 3 times. I bought the spark plugs that came with this bike from the showroom.
- Air filter 3 times. Besides, there was no need to change anything.

Before concluding, I would like to say that this bike is one of my favorite. Those who have bought, or will buy Honda Hornet will always look at the user manual and service according to the rules. Insha’Allah you will get good performance.
