Suzuki Gixxer SF Fi ABS user review by Masum Billah

Riding bikes has been a passion for me for a very long time. By the profession I am a businessperson, but whenever I get time to roam with my bike I went out. Previously I had Gixxer SF, but after a while I think off changing my bike and switch to Yamaha R15 V3. After studying a lot I figure out, as I am a passionate rider, so comfort and all the other aspects are very necessary, meanwhile I saw Suzuki Gixxer FI ABS was about arrive in Bangladeshi market. Comparing this bike to V3 I thought let’s try SF Fi ABS, because regarding other users this bike is lot more comfortable as a sports segment bike. Features are almost the same, so I waited for a while for this bike and paid off the as early as it arrives into the market. The meter count is not at 2500 kilometers and today I will be sharing my first impression review through motorcycle valley. So, guys stick till the last.

I would like to start things with the good sides of this bike:

- In one word this bike is “Amazing”. It has the perfect seating posture then before, split seating makes this bike comfortable for both rider and pillion. Furthermore, the entire Outlook gets a new design, which makes this bike really very attractive. Color uses, graphics, little bit of chroming all are excellent.

- Because of the new design and the comfortable split handlebar, controlling this bike seems much easier and smoother at any type of road. I never felt I am going to lose control over it.

- As a single channel ABS, I can say this bike has a perfect braking combination, not only I liked the ABS braking, but also I enjoy using the rear one. In any road conditions I easily stop my bike using them.

- Electrical features are much improved, Battery performance is excellent indeed, new meter panel looks very eye catching to me and I find all the needed instruments. Moreover, the new front LED just pleased my heart with all of it. I didn’t even think of fog lights for night riding. I love to ride at night, and I never feel the lack of light.

- EFi engine doesn’t need any introduction, but still I will say it is giving mesmerizing performance, overall speed mileage, sound, everything seems perfect to me about the engine.

Now, there are a few bad things I have seen:

- As a sports category Bike, body plastics need improvement according to me.

- I think this bike is short of 6th gear, it was required as per the engine performance.

- Body plastics are not that much strong enough, even they are much costly. Therefore, to protect them a side bumper was necessary, but there is no way to set the by default.

- It is my personal opinion though, but still I think the price is bit higher.

I haven’t gone for that far with my bike till now, but in one day 65 KM ride give me a new knowledge about this bike. I figured out this bike can carry weight. The more it gets heavier it rolls perfectly. Like, I speeded up this bike up to 128 KM/H with a pillion, on that time I realized it. I am hopping this bike will be able to give the top speed near around 140. I never check the mileage, because tanker always remains full, but still I can bet this bike is giving me at least 40-45 KM/L mileage according to my use.
