Suzuki Gixxer 150 motorcycle ownership review by Rad bin Alam
I was so passionate about motorbikes from my childhood. When I was at high school I learned riding motorcycle and after few months my father bought me a new motorcycle which I used to think of. Since then I used to ride biking and do stunt riding. Collecting motorcycle is my hobby and I almost used every 150cc motorcycles available in our country. At the year 2014 a new motorcycle from Suzuki was launched and I became attracted to that bike which is named Suzuki Gixxer. Out looks of this new model is really attractive to the bike lovers because it is build with sports category looks and a rear design with great color combination. After few days I bought that motorcycle and for one year I am riding this motorcycle. Now from bellow the lines I will share some of my experience about this motorcycle.

Performance of the Engine:
Those motorbike users who know about the reputation of Suzuki Company, they also know that these motorcycles contains good engine which can satisfy the users with their performance. This motorcycle is assembled with 154cc Single Cylinder, Air cooling Four Strokes SOHC engine. This engine can produce high quality max power of 14.8 PS @ 8000 rpm and torque of 14 N m @ 6000 rpm and because of this type of power and torque I have got greater performance for last one year which I can say without any doubt. I am using this motorcycle for past one year in my own experience I have got better-quality performance with this bike than the other bikes I have ride. Additional parts and internal thing of the engine are also made well by Suzuki.
Controlling experience:
If anyone asks me about the controlling of this bike I would saycontrolling and handling of this motorcycle is very easy at good speed and also in normal condition in my judgment. Because this bike is much heavier than the other 150cc motorcycles that’s why controlling of this bike is very smooth. In general I use this motorcycle for traveling in city roads and in my personal experience this motorcycle is easy to control for its sporty design. Turning at the curve roads or continue at good speed at the off roads both are very comfortable with this bike because of its smaller size and good road grip.
Speed and mileage I get from by bike:
This bike can satisfy the riders with its speed and mileage both and I am also in that list.I am totally satisfied with the top speed of this bike. From the very start this bike is best for all time at its top speed. I have ride this motorcycle with other rider pillion and I have crossed top speed of 125 KM/H which really amazing. With only the rider this bike cam easily exits the speed of 130KM/H top speed without any hesitation. This bike doesn’t dishearten me at the mileage performance of its own. I have got 40 KM/L mileage at the starting and it is almost the same at present.
Long drive experience:
I have travelled only two long journeys with this bike till know and I can say this bike is able to provide mileage, speed and comfort all three at the long journeys but one the engine get heated very early and need rest unless the engine reduces some heat. Without this problem when I made a journey of 210 KM in one day with this bike I faced one more problem which is the sitting position. Because of the sitting position I faced back pain for a while. Over all it can be said very long journeys with this bike is not so comfortable.
Good side of my bike:
-0-60 KM speed within 10 seconds.
- Engine performance is better.
- Strong and durable body parts.
- Very stylish and available with shiny colors.
Bad side of my bike:
- Not so comfortable at the long distance.
- Tyres can be better.
At a glance this motorcycle will be loved by all that I can say it is stylish, well designed, durable enough for long time use and overall performance of this motorcycle is far better than other sports category in our country.
