Suzuki Gixxer SF FI ABS user review by Masud Rana
Before using Suzuki I was riding Yamaha FZ. Without that I had Apache and Pulsar. For many years I am using bikes and I love riding. When I first saw the new Gixxer SF I made my mind to buy it. I was thinking to have a fairing bike for myself and after watching this bike and the features I though it will be perfect for me. Two months back I ordered this bike, but for some difficulties this bike was delivered to me one month ago. However, I never wanted to discuss about my bike, but Team motorcycle valley requested me to provide my first impression review, which is why I am here today. I am riding this bike for only 500 kilometers, so not that much of information I have, but still let me tell you all about the performance I am getting from this bike.
-This new SF comes with outstanding new design and I really liked it at the first glance. After I bring this bike home people used to stare at my bike and I enjoyed that.
-It has excellent controlling and comfort that I never had in any other bike except FZS. Though it is a fairing bike, but I can have full control over it. Cornering, high speed riding, each and everything related to controlling is so perfect.
-ABS brakes are effective and smooth, but not like FZS.
-One thing that I really like is the LED headlamp. This headlamp has serious power output.
-Engine seems superior at its performance, but I feel lack of power sometimes.
-After crossing the speed of 80 KM/H I realized vibration from the engine. I think that happened because of the break-in period. Hopefully it will be gone soon.
-Because of the FI engine I am getting excellent mileage. Right now I am counting 40-45 KM/L mileage. After completing the break-in period I guess it will climb up.
I will go for long journeys after I complete the break-in period, so till now I have no experience about log journeys with my new SF. Overall I am enjoying with this bike, hopefully after a certain period of time the performance will become soother.
