Quality of the service center is disappointing – Hero Glamour user Abu Fahim

Three years back I bought Hero Glamour 125 and till now I am using it. Within these three years I have gathered some important knowledge about this bike which you can consider as an experience as well. Because of this reason if someone asks me about Hero Glamour, such as the good sides or bad things I can easily say. Today I will share those experiences of mine with my bike through motorcycle valley. Main motive to share all these are to let you know about this bike better, because the company always claims their product as the best. But we must know the users opinion as well, so let’s begin.

I am MD. Abu Fahim and still I am a student. My father bought me this bike three years ago and I have traveled a lot with this vehicle. Firstly I want to discuss about the engine portion of this bike. The engine is good but the problem is its heat up very early and sometimes creates some awful noise as well. Alongside that this engine cannot provide that much speed I wanted. Luckily I have crossed 95 KM/H speed and then I cannot raise more. So I would say this engine is average with its performance but satisfactory.

Design and the build quality
In one word I like the design because this bike is made for all kind of riders no matters what the age is it is going to suit with the rider. Though I think the design is perfect but the build quality is not that much good as I predict. When the manufacturing company of this bike was Hero Honda then the plastic quality was premium but after getting separated now the plastic quality gets down for the body kit I guess. I figured out that because of a small pressure my bikes body plastics get brooked down earlier which I just cannot say durable from anyways.

Comfort
I am really saddened with the comfort of this model. Quality of the seat and the seating position are really disappointing to me and I never felt comfort sitting over it. Because of this reason I do not feel that much relaxed at the long rides too. One thing I must say though the seating position is uncomfortable but the footrest and the handlebar is positioned perfectly. This bike vibrates at the high sped which is another reason for my discomfort. Other side the throttle is connected with the headlamp, that’s why the light get up sometimes and gets down sometimes which is really annoying at difficult situation and I am not comfortable with it. but the other electrical and their operating switches are well to do and I have no problems with those.

Control
Tyres of this bike are not well griped. They skids very often and that hampers the controlling. Not only that I have three accidents on my record book because of this tyre skidding. Suspensions re good but at the off kind of roads they are not that much satisfactory. So I am not fully satisfied with the controlling but not that much disappointed as well.

Mileage
When I bought this bike the showroom authority said it will offer 70 KM/L mileage but I am getting 50 KM/L mileage according to my using basis. But I am pleased because as 125cc bike what more I am going to need.

Service center
When I bought this bike few years back the servicing quality and behavior of the servicing center were not good enough to satisfy a user and I heard at present they become worst then before.

I am personally upset with their performance.

Price
Based on the features and the performance quality I think the price tag this bike holds is perfect.

Bad sides of this bike
- Braking is not well performing.
- Don’t like the AC system headlamp.
- Need better riding position seat.
- Vibrates at the high speed.

Finally I will say, it is not necessary that those things I didn’t like about this bike will not be the same for others. But I am thinking to change this bike and try to take Yamaha FZS v2.
