Honda is Honda, there is now barrier saying this line. This Japanese brand has existed in the Bangladeshi market for decades and their bikes are very satisfying to be used by bikers. I have a weakness towards the Honda brand and I have been looking to buy Honda bike since there was a little shortage of Honda bikes in the Bangladeshi market. At one time Honda Hornet came in the market of Bangladesh, but I didn't get a chance to take it. Then I kept waiting for Honda X Blade, because I saw in India that the bike has been launched. I keep watching reviews of X Blade bike on various online web sites and considering the attraction I had towards Honda brand I read reviews about X Blade very well. I never stopped watching different reviews on Youtube and at one point when X Blade came in Bangladesh market I decided to buy the bike.
I have never had a chance to ride a Honda brand bike. I bought a Honda Xblade to experience this brand of product. You can say that I am experiencing new brand with a new bike. I have ridden about 4500 km since I bought this bike and I have had a very good experience with this bike. I have been using this bike for about 6 months now. In these 6 months I gathered a lot of experiences, and I would like to share them with you all.
Good sides of this bike I experienced:
The design is awesome in one word. I like this bike's Roboface LED headlamp, rear tail lamp, meter console, over all I like the looks a lot. When I ride this bike, I am fascinated by its meter console. On the other hand, when someone looks at the front headlamp they can feel the killer looks and the rear tail lamp is wonderfully designed, which makes me like the design of this bike in all respects.
I am getting much better engine performance as a sports commuter bike. I have taken this bike to different places and have ridden more in the city. In that case I think the performance of the engine is much better. I especially like the smoothness of the engine, the sound of the exhaust. And the Honda engine is always very smooth.
The rider seating position is comfortable, but the Pillion seating position seems more comfortable than that. Because when I ride with Pillion, Pillion feels very comfortable sitting in their seat and even in the case of long ride, Pillion and the rider can ride very comfortably.
I rode this bike about 450 km in one day. In this ride I got top speed of 130 km per hour. This is unbelievable, but true because I got the top speed when I got off the bridge and I didn't feel any fatigue, engine problem or any other problem while riding 450 km in one day.
I am very satisfied with the mileage, because I am getting mileage of 45 Km/L and 50 Km/L at highways from a 160cc bike. Considering the mileage, the best bike in 160cc is Honda Xblade.
This time I will tell you some bad experiences with this bike:
- The rear tire of this bike skids a bit, which I felt while riding.
- I get less light support from the headlamps of this bike on the highway.
- The size of the front tire seemed a little thinner to me.
- There are opportunities to further improve in build quality.
The Honda Xblade seems to me a much better bike in terms of budget considering the engine, features etc. For those of you who want to buy this bike, I would say that if you can cope with the problems of the bike that I mentioned, you must buy it.
My advice to the company would be to make the front tire size of the bike a little thicker as it makes it difficult to corner and to improve the build quality of the bike a bit more. Thanks to everyone for reading my good and bad experiences with My Xblade for so long.
