Bajaj Pulsar 150 Twin Disc Full Review by Sujon

My first bike I purchased on 13/01/2019 and today I am to share my experience before and after purchasing my motorcycle.

Bike was something like a dream to me as because; one of my grandfathers on the next door had a legendary motorcycle Yamaha/Honda 50cc when I was a student of class 5/6. He used to take me with him whenever he goes out wondering by riding his motorcycle. It is good to mention that bike was a scary vehicle to me on that time even then my grandfather took me with him on each of his riding. From then, an idea set on my head that Motorcycle means to go somewhere very fast and always gazing on the motorcycle that pass me. Whatever, in this way I passed my SSC exam and in this period of time, my next door uncle purchased a Yamaha 100cc motorcycle. This was no way easy to ask the motorcycle from uncle but I did it when I notice that motorcycle riding by his son. I ask the motorcycle from him by gathering the entire valor inside me. I told him to test me whether I can ride or not. Although, I can’t even understand the Clutch, Gear or brake but I went forward and start the Engine. But ridiculously I didn’t set down the gear rather picking up the pickup higher and higher, this make friend funny by which he replied with slight that, I can’t ride a motorcycle in this way but I was so insane and told him “I can, you just tell me the way, he replied me to hold on the pickup then set down the gear and after then release the pick up slowly, you will feel the movement”. I tried in the same way and I succeed. Whatever happened in that day but the most important thing is, I gained a lot of experience in the same time. one of my friends had a Platina in which I always gazing at but never can tell that I want learn riding motorcycle.



In the same way, I met another good friend who had a Hero Splendor. I told him by gathering my entire valor that I want to learn riding motorcycle. He was cordial enough to me and this is why he made me familiar with all the basic parts of his motorcycle. This is something like a new inspiration to me and began to ride but horrible matter is, it was so tough for me to adjust the clutch and gear which causes the Engine turn off again and again. It is so irritating for any biker owner.

One day I told my father to purchase a motorcycle but he was not interested in the first expression, later I found him with a brand new motorcycle. Although my choice was Bajaj Discover or Platina but my father took brand new Dayun Motorcycle. Whatever it is, my father’s bike means my bike so no tension about the brand and this formula is known to all.

Well, it was first of our motorcycle, father asked me whether I could ride motorcycle or not? I replied him with my total confident “yes, yes I can excellently”. My father wants me to check out how much actually I am adapted with the motorcycle. I did exactly that my friend taught me while riding his Splendor. Starting the engine, hold on the clutch, set up the gear but couldn’t hold the pickup level in exact way and this make me feel like I am flying with my motorcycle. Even the worst matter is, sometime I can’t understand in which gear my motorcycle is currently at. Naturally my father already has understood my ability to ride a motorcycle. This way I tried to learn riding motorcycle and one day early morning, I took my father’s bike to my teacher friend. He was just in charm to see me with brand new motorcycle. Without wasting any time, I took my friend to wonder in a place where I ridden my motorcycle smartly.

Next day I made trip with my father and after then, every time we go somewhere father always let me ride as because my hand was well adapted with the motorcycle. I have made so many long tours and long journey. Same time, it is good to mention that, one day I have ride my motorcycle by sitting over the fuel tank by which I have to renew both the tyre and tube. One I face an accident along with my father due to a hurry guy who was crossing the road. Both I and my father became injure in that accident. Same way, one day while traveling Kurigram from Rangpur, wheel slipped and thrown out of the road in a rough way. This makes me more aware about riding motorcycle. Later I never face anything like so when I was a student of College or Varsity.

I feel myself fortunate enough as because while I was working Samsung, I have the chance to stay on different district and sub district. Where I also got the chance to ride so many bikes of different persons where Pulsar 2017 was one of the key one which I have ridden around 5/6 months. The first time I while riding that motorcycle, its control, and speed just amazed me finely same time, the owner of that motorcycle was pretty impressed with my riding style. This is why, wherever we go, every time he let me to ride his motorcycle. At the same time, I also ridden Apache but I never can feel the feelings if Pulsar in Apache. When I switched to Bogra, then I was riding Bajaj CT100. It was good to say but nothing like the Pulsar. One of my brothers has a Discover 125 and I used to ride that one as well but I never had the exact feelings actually I was not satisfied with those performances.

When I switched to Joypurhat as a City Manager of Vivo, I have to journey a lot in different sub district in a plan way so I was something like adjusted to search on internet and looking for a motorcycle that suit me and can serve the exact comfort that can make satisfied. So I always check out MotorcycleValley with a view to have the latest news over the Price Bajaj Pulsar. I found Bajaj Pulsar UG5 double disc but not even then fixed my mind with it. I told this matter ti one of my elder brothers in Joypurhat to have proper advice on this matter. He was great fan of Apache. At first I paid a visit to the Hasan Treading’s sub dealer located on Joypurhat bazaar. I asked them if they had Pulsar UG5 double disc 2019 yet on their showroom or not. They replied me negative. I also asked the Uttara Motors Bogra and also in Rangpur. Then I asked them what is the less amount if I paid them full at a time. They told me a rate. My that brother took me in the showroom of Apache. I checked out the 4V with all of my attention. Everything was ok of 4V but its look is something like a charger bike and same time, somehow that motorcycle was so good to match with me. So I leave the showroom and after 2 days I paid a visit on Vai Vai Auto’s located on Dupchachiya. I checked out NS but my Wife ignored but when I came in front of UF5 both us stayed positive while looking at this one. This was the reason I had already confirmed that one. Even then the main reasons to purchase this motorcycle are:

1. Its Sporty look amazed me just a look over this one.
2. Its rear wheel really have an extra ordinary tubeless tyre with the size of 120/80
3. This bikes seating style is very much attractive and comfortable.
4. Its gear style is remarkable.
5. This one’s handlebar is special why because it let me ride this motorcycle without moving the neck.
6. Front part has wide suspension
7. Current one has the whole new look as because this one has no Kicker.
8. Most amazingly, this one is with double disc.
When I am purchase my motorcycle, they served me more than expected way so I let them complete the registration of my motorcycle and they complete the whole in just 2 days. But I checked nothing while purchasing my motorcycle as because the showroom was familiar to me previously.

Just after purchasing the motorcycle, I return to Joypurhat next day. I can’t sense anything negative in the first ½ days as because, I was busy with so many works ignoring my motorcycle. But on the 3rd day I notice that Headlight is directly remaining on all the time. Engine was rough to take start on the morning. Already I have made my motorcycle badly dusty. I was in horrible situation with these all. So I wash my bike and purchase necessary equipment like switches to turn off the headlight, footrest, seat cover, signal horn, bike cover and others. Right then from the Motorcycle I got a call that they had confirm the deal of my motorcycle and I am going to have a gift from them. I want to Thank Asif Reza for all these process. Next I complete the Insurance of my motorcycle. But when I started to ride my motorcycle I felt jam in the handlebar. As because I purchased my bike from Dupchachiya, Bogra, this is why I don't take any service on the wearing or in the handle. Suddenly I noticed that my bikes side stand signal is not working but something like horrible to me when I come to know that there is no magnet which was required here to for the proper signal and this information serve me by Local Motorcycle Engineer. I was determined myself in my mind to throw this complain on the showroom why because I don't have time to serve my motorcycle unless it is Friday.

On the date of 21 I was getting ready early in the morning for Kalai, Bogura to do official work. The self of the bike was showing problem like other days. After that I pull choke and start my bike. After reaching Kalai I realized that the next day will be Thursday and I have my training in the town so that, will also finish my work at Akkelpur on the same day. But the terrible matter was, just after running a little distance, Engine turned off. Each time I push the self switch and each time display light turn off and no way engine was starting. It was just horrible situation to me. Why because there is no kick start option in my motorcycle when the fuel level was all ok.

About 20 minutes I keep waited by switched of the key. Then fix the gear level one and take my hand on the self start switch by closing my eyes but just after running little distance I have to face the same problem again. I called the showroom to find out the way but they can't give any solution but they told me to come on the showroom next day with the motorcycle. I could not able to reach on Akkelpur on that day. Next day after completing the training of my workers, I reached to Akkelpur but amazingly I have to face the same problem again while going to the Dupchachiya. Somehow I reached there and told them about the problem. I told them about the side stand as well but they could not give me the exact solution actually no solution. They advice me to reach on Bogra with the service book. I didn't waste any time but to prepare me for the ride towards Bogra again I have to face the same problem about 5/6 times which running towards Bogra. The situation is like I am loosing the trust over my motorcycle. Totally non sense everything happening with me and with my motorcycle is totally non sense. Even then somehow I manage to hold the pick up of my motorcycle to the servicing center of the Bogra. Their expert team check out the motorcycle with their test ride and by advising me to take rest on the waiting room. Then they work with the parts of Gear level and Clutch and adjust those properly. No magnet on the side stand, switching off the self, I told them but they ignored. I don't know why.

But after having the service from Bogra, my motorcycle is now very much free from the previous. Changing the Headlight on off switch and by working from them, I hardly can feel any problem in my motorcycle till now. I'm not sure about the mileage range right now but the front brake working very nicely. Rear wheels brake is not like the front one but workable. Suspensions performance are just excellent this is why, those hardly let me feel any shake of the road. As because this one has excellent handlebar, this is why I can feel the exact comfort of riding a motorcycle. I can easily control my motorcycle even on the speed of 70/80 kilometers per hour. Same time rear wheel has wide and tubeless tyre this is why I am having the exact comfort while riding my motorcycle over the rough and stony road. But the company would have serve kick start and better battery in this motorcycle.

At the last this bike is very much smart to look at and comfortable while riding.
