Yamaha R15 V3 User Review by AL Monir Choyon

I am a Yamaha lover for many days. Besides Yamaha user as well. I used to have Yamaha R15 V2. After riding it for many days I heard version 3 is coming. After the new model arrived I was literally dreaming when I am going to grab the handlebar. Well, 1.5 months back I just bring the bike home and today the meter is on 2000 kilometers. Without the pillion seat I just loved the design and color. I love blue bikes, which is why I choose the racing blue for myself. I think the pillion seat is little bit higher and it is a problem for long time riding. Without that all the other things about this bikes design is just perfect. However, I didn’t gathered that much experiences, but still I would like to share some of my personal findings about this bike.

A few things I like about this bike:

- Already said, it has an outstanding outlook and the color combination is so picture-perfect.

- Because of the ABS braking this bike has perfect braking and using them I am having superb controlling.

- Tire gripping is just mesmerizing. Without that body dimension is good enough for providing me flawless cornering.

- The contrast between Seat and handle bar seems very comfortable to me and I am enjoying every single ride with my bike.

- I am fully satisfied with the mileage.

A few things that I didn’t like about this bike:

- Pillion seat

- Headlight power is literally unworthy of this bike.

- I think the color quality is not up to the mark. While cleaning it grabs scratches.

I am very glad that this bike has FI engine. It not only provides me better power and speed, but also the mileage is perfect. I am getting 44-45 KM/L mileage at the city roads. Once I travelled around 110 KM in one day and the mileage was 47 KM/L. As I am now at the break-in period I never accelerate this bike, but once I raised the speed and the meter was showing 112 KM/H speed, though it was just the beginning. After the break-in period is over I will check the real speed.

On the whole, I have no major complains about my R15 V3 except the headlight. I am enjoying my rides.
