Runner Turbo 125cc Review by Mujibur Rahman

In the year 1990, I was a school going boy with my friends. One of my close friends father had Suzuki 80 cc motorcycle. He used to ride sometimes. One day I asked my friend that could you help to ride motorcycle. He agreed to teach and first time I got chance to ride motorcycle. Since that I have used several bike models of several brands. Now I am using Runner turbo 125 motorbikes. Today I will share my riding experience with you. I believe my experience will help to get to know about this bike pro and cons.

Before Runner Turbo 125 cc, as I said above, I have experience of riding several branded motorcycles such as Suzuki 100, Honda H100S, Honda CG 125, Bajaj Boxer as well as Bajaj pulsar.

Frankly speaking I was little confused in terms of getting Runner motorcycle after experiencing world class Japanese and Indian Brand. Basically, I am business man I had to go here and their regularly therefore my point of concern was fuel efficiency, durability as well as after sales service. In that curtail time, one of my close friends Ismail vai, manager of Nupu Corporation, ensure me about the quality and services of the Runner. After riding 3000 km, I can say, I made right decision. Runner Turbo 125 is an attract sports bike design base model with commuter bike features. I got this bike from Nupu Corporation, dealer of Runner Rajshahi.

I have been following the given instruction properly. In breaking period, I was more conscious about my bike and had servicing time to time as well as changed engine oil at the right time. What I feel every bike should follow given instruction of the bike companies to get long term nonstop service.




If I talk about this motorcycle, first I would say about its sports looking structure. Along with attractive red color it has been decorated with big size fuel tank and nice headlight. In total this is an eye attractive 125 cc segments motorcycle of Runner. There are several colors are available you could chose your favorite one among them.






After design engine is vital one to consider in the time of bike selection. This 125 cc bike can generate 8.4 kw power with instant 11 Nm torque. Therefore to me this is a powerful commuter bike. Though I am not a speed lover but I got top speed of 70 Km and I believe this model has ability to run at 90 km. in the case of fuel consumption, I am having 45 KMPL. It could have been better to have 50 KMPL. Moreover, it has good enough ground clearance. Therefore you could easily cross the speed breaker at normal speed.




Both front and rear suspensions are effective enough absorb the shock of rough roads. Alongside soft seat its length is also standard to seat comfortably. Besides, it has disc break in front wheel as well as its wide wheel front and rear (2.75-18, 90/90-18) and solid grip has given outstanding control over the bike. I have not experience any skid yet. Total weight of this bike is 133 kg that provide me proper control to the speed and bike. Rather than that I never felt any problem in gear shifting.





It is obvious to have some pros and cons of every bike no difference in term of my Runner turbo 125.



Pros,
- Outstanding outlook, this model would give you feel of sports bike with commuter features.
- Comfortable to ride in any situation.
- Reasonable price with futuristic features.
- Good customer service

Cons,
- Brightness of the Headlight is not sufficient enough to ride in the night.
- Rubber of the motorcycle is not durable enough to support for long run.

In Bangladeshi market, Japanese and Indian brand are very much available but runner is working hard to make them establish by offering attractive features within affordable price which is really remarkable. I must say Runner turbo 125 is one of the best commuter bikes in recent time to me.

After considering all the pros and cons as well as design and after sales service I would like to give 8 out of 10 to Runner Turbo 125.
