Bajaj Platina 100cc user review by Mamunur Rashid

This is MD.Mamunur Rashid from Bagatipara, Natore. Bike riding is like my passion. After learned bike riding I used to travel a lot with bikes and also go for long tours. At present I am using a bike named I Bajaj Platina 100 and I am using it for the last three years. I think the time has come to say something about my bike because I have gathered lots of knowledge about my bike. Before this one I haven’t used any bike which I can call my own bike, so this is the first one. I was searching for a chance to say few things about my bike for the motorcycle lovers or the users and today I got that opportunity. Thanks to team motorcycle valley for giving me a chance to express myself. So without wasting any further time I will straightly present my sayings about my bike or you can say my very own experiences with this bike. Hope it will help you all to know about this 100cc commuter better than before.

Main reason to buy this bike was for traveling around at the leisure time and for my study purpose. And luckily the engine performance of this bike didn’t let me down and I think I made a good choice. The engine quality is better because of good maintenance the sound remains the same like a new bike. . After buying my bike never tried to reach the top speed but I have found good acceleration from my bike no doubt. It takes no time to speed up and I really like that because it is a 100cc commuter. Mileage performance is not good according to me. Because other 100cc bikes offer lot more mileage than this bike I am using. At present I am getting 55 KM/L mileage but I expected more from this bike and I am really disappointed. But I take satisfaction from the other performances of this bike, so ultimately I am happy.

Sitting position is much better; I have never felt back pain in long tours, so I must say this bike is comfortable enough for riding. Smooth and free handlebar provides a good controlling in city traffic and I am happy that this bike is offering me that. Combination between the handle bar and riding seat is also perfect so no matter of discomfort. Electrical side like the headlamp and the turn lights are really supportive of this bike and their operating switches are also user-friendly for using so I am comfortable with them during my journeys but few things disappointed me, the battery gets down really early and need replacement of fixing, I faced trouble for the horn and most importantly this bike don’t have any electric starting option, which is required in such a difficult situations. Another reason behind the comfortable riding with this bike is its suspensions. Both are really effective and I can have relaxed journey because of them. Whatever as a 100cc bike it is a comfortable and I am satisfied with it.

This bike from Bajaj comes with a polite design which is not so fancy but can attract people I guess. Color combination overall graphic are standard and its build quality is good enough for long time use.. The build quality is good but according to my opinion the manufacturing company must avoid full plastic body material. Because of plastic the longevity gets lesser.

Controlling this bike at any kind of road is not a difficult thing. It carries light weight with it so it can easily be controlled at the populated areas but because of that this bike vibrates a lot after it crosses 50-60 KM/H speed which I didn’t like at all. Braking are supportive and I get rid of many troubling situations because of these effective brakes. Tyres are lean but they do not skid that much so I do not have to think of that issue.

The place where I take my bike for servicing is really a good place to visit. They are really well behaved and their work ability is also acceptable. Not only that they do have good equipment for fixing your bike.

Finally I will say this bike is full of features and they perform well too, few things are disturbing like this bike does not have any space to carry things or, there is no gear indicator but those are in my opinion, it may vary with others. The price of this bike is perfect I think and anyone can buy this bike.
