Biker Couple Alamgir & Depali about to travel SAARC

The first biker couple of Bangladesh “Alamgir Ahmed Chowdhury” and “Chowdurani Depali Ahmed” made their plan to travel 8 countries of SAARC just after they had finished their tour on 64 district of Bangladesh and West Bengal of India. Last 26th of March they detailed their plan to “Team MotorcycleValley” :


Tourism is the only sector which can afford better foreign currency than the Garments. Recently Bangladesh Bank move their special eye to the tourism and enlisted it to CSR. To participate in such national project and to make an active role in the slogan of Prime Minister “Visit Bangladesh 2016”, the biker couple made their appearance in the 64 district in the last 30 October 2016 to 25th of January 2017, near about 87 days, they had spread the message of Tourism and exchange their view with each of the District Chancellor, meet with students of at least a school or college, meet with the press in each district and same time, they had looked over some attractive spots and inspire the youth community about the tourism of Bangladesh. This campaign was organized by Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry's “Bangladesh Tourism Board” and this organization served as a sponsor and all short of Administrative support. “Lifan KPR 150” was used in the campaign which was supported by “Rasel industries Ltd”.

This campaign of “Visit Bangladesh 2016” had praised nationally and discussed different types of medias, television and also in online media. Just after completing the campaign, Tourism related minister MR. Rashed Khan Menon served a reception from “Bangladesh Tourism Board” and “National Tourism Organization” and later he enjoyed the video presentation of the campaign. As the following campaign become success and to follow the same way, next campaign organized by the same ministry named as “Tourism for all Bangladesh to west Bengal”. The couple has travel 30 day's in the West Bengal to follow the campaign which was held in 25th of May 2017 to 25th of June 2017. they have spread the message of Bangladesh Tourism Board to Tourism Ministry, Schools and Colleges, Biker community and as well as to the youth community. After completing the campaign, Minister of Tourism Board “MR. Rashed Khan Menon” served them a Honorable Certificate and a Crest “Tourist couple of Bangladesh” and next he enjoyed the video presentation of the campaign.

To make the message in vast way and spread the message internationally, the biker couple now organizing “Tourism for all: Ride from Bangladesh for SAARC”. In the last 1st of January “Bangladesh Tourism Board” noticed the order paper of the campaign. The campaign supported by “Tour operators association of Bangladesh (TOAB)” and this will cause to happen in the period of 1st of September of 2018 to 30th of October 2018. in this campaign, the biker couple is going to travel 8 countries of SAARC region Nepal, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Srilanka and Maldives where their main focus to spread the message of tourism specially in capital based areas of the following countries including the sectors of University, Tourism Ministry, Press briefing, Media Personality and also in the bikers community. It is positively hoped that this campaign is going to make an excellent impact on the tourism industry of our country.

The project of DRFM-B of BRAC UNIVERISITY which was actually about the traveling of 64 district of Bangladesh and to follow this project, MR. Alomgir Ahmed Chowdhury and Dipali Ahmed was in Rajshahi in the last 26th of March and they were welcomed in the office of MotorcycleValley and later they were interviewed.

They thanked BRAC UNIVERSITY to give him such a chance to enrich the National development including the Program Manager “Afsana Chowdhury” and “DR. Rofikul Islam”. He further said that, the biker couple is always concern to take part in the national activity and they wish that each of the people will be active in the same program from their own position. Specially he try to drawn the attention of the biker Community.



“Alamgir Ahmed Chowdhury” is mainly a businessman. But he is passionate about the Motorbike riding and tourism. From the last 20 years this man working non stop to promote the Biking Tourism and his accompany is his wife “Chowdhurany Depali Ahmed”.



“Chowdhurani Depali ahmed” is a house wife. As her passion is traveling on bike, she joins “Alamgir Ahmed Chowdhury”. Just after marriage, she learned to riding bike from her husband and now jointly on the way to promote the tourism on non stop basis.

They urge for well wishes from all for their upcoming campaign. It is good to mention that, this time they are going to made this campaign in separate bikes. Very recent they are going to talk with the sponsor and select their bike brand. As this campaign is little bit high both from distance and economic consumption, they looking for special notice from the sponsors.
