Yamaha MT15 User Review by Sayfur Rahman

I love Yamaha bike since the very beginning I started to know about motorcycles. For the last 6 years I am using Yamaha FZS and I had a great 6 year journey. A few days back I decided to have a bike that is modern and comes with latest features. Most importantly that bike has to be a Yamaha bike. I started searching on internet and one day I saw this small size beast named MT-15. A few days of searching and within no time taking decision for having Yamaha MT-15 was a good decision. For the last 2 months this bike is with me and I am loving the performance. Though I am only at 1500 kilometers of riding, but my first impression about this bike is excellent. I didn’t find any technical difficulties, but I have some design issues. Okay then, let me share some of my experiences, which I gathered after riding this bike for two months.

Good sides:

- Color Graphics and front impression of this bike is really extra ordinary. I really like the headlamp and rear design.
- This bike has superb controlling ability. Smaller in size, which is why turning radius doesn’t bother that much. I can easily pass though in city and highway rides are just fantastic.
- Brakes are perfect, but I expected more.
-It has same speed as R15. Because the engine power is similar. Engine has fast acceleration and the mileage seems also good to me.
- Though this bike is now at break-in period, but the mileage is 40+. Excellent sound and full Fi performance. I really enjoy this bike engine performance.

Bad sides:

- The only thing that bothers me is the pillion seat. It is really very small. At least one person should have the position to sit on it.
- Little bit bigger fuel tanker is necessary I think.

In one day I experienced 50 kilometers ride with my bike till now. On that day I was pretty much comfortable from all the sides. And I think this bike will be suitable for long journeys. On the whole I have no major complaints, but as I said at the very beginning, only one technical issue, or built in problem is the smaller size pillion seat. Overall I am happy.
