Yamaha MT15 User Review by Tushar Rabin

Ever since I saw Yamaha MT 15 I just decided to buy one for me. One month’s back I was able to buy this precious bike for me. Reason behind choosing this bike were many. I really like the design and naked shape. This smaller size bike has extreme power and excellent performance as well. Except a few things I think MT 15 is just superior. Nevertheless, I haven’t ride this bike for a long time, only 1800 kilometer is running, due to the request of Team motorcycle valley I am here to share some of my experiences.

Good sides:

-Color Graphics and front impression of this bike is really extra ordinary. I really like the headlamp and rear design.
-This bike has superb controlling ability. Smaller in size, which is why turning radius doesn’t bother that much. I can easily pass though in city and highway rides are just fantastic. Brakes are perfect, but I expected more.
-It has same speed as R15. Because the engine power is similar. Engine has fast acceleration and the mileage seems also good to me. Though this bike is now at break-in period, but the mileage is 40+. Excellent sound and full Fi performance. I really enjoy this bike engine performance.
-Both side suspensions are perfectly working and for them I can have excellent comfort while riding. No tiredness and disturbance.

Bad sides:

-I have no doubt about the engine performance, but after crossing 7000 RPM this bike seems like floating. I didn’t find the reason why.
-According to the price this bike should have Dual Channel ABS.
-Headlamp comes with poor light. Because of the design the power of the headlamp seems low to me.
-I heard a little bit sound from the chain set. That is bothering. I think it happens because of the open chain system. Because of no chain cover extra bit of dust and other materials gets in and creates noise.

In one day I experienced 100 kilometers ride with my bike till now. On that day I was pretty much comfortable from all the sides. And I think this bike will be suitable for long journeys. On the whole I have no major complaints, but those things I mentioned are problem to me. Finally the price should be lessen bit.
