TVS Apache RTR 150 ownership review by Shahriar Shourav

Now at these days two wheelers are very popular vehicle across the world. Countries like Bangladesh its popularity are also very pleasant and rising very rapidly day after day. Because of this reason I also become passionate about this vehicle. Like the other riders I was very much attracted to bikes from my childhood and now two years have passed I am riding a motorcycle named Apache RTR. This motorcycle belongs to Indian Motorcycle Company named TVS. When I first saw advertise of this bike on the television I was ready to buy this bike. And now in my opinion I am very glad to have this kind of motorcycle for my personal use. From bellow the lines I will share some of my experience about this bike. I hope this discussion will be helpful to other riders who want to buy or using this bike.

Why I purchased this motorcycle?

As I said before I was determined to have this bike since its arrival and after I saw the speciation and the looks in real at the local market without any delay I purchased this bike. This bike is very stylish and according to the price features are really amazing. One of the main reason to buy RTR 150 was this bike is fuel efficient with sports category outlooks.

Riding experience with my bike:

My riding experience with this bike is very nice because my travelling coasts are not so expensive like the other sports category motorbikes. For the long journeys I used my bike for travelling from Kushtia to Dhaka for many times and all of those journeys were very good I mean to say I didn’t face any kind of difficulties. At long journeys this bike can provide comfortable journey but sometimes this bike vibrates much at the top speed but other things are great with their performance. At the city roads this bike is one of the best for use because this bike contains speed with good controlling.

Engine performance:

As we all know RTR 150 is an Indian Branded motorcycle but this motorcycle contains quality engine with well performance. This motorcycle contains 150cc 4-stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled engine which is able to generate good max power and torque. Because of this reason this bike provides quality performance to the riders. Other spear parts of this motorcycles engine are high in quality. Two years have passed and I didn’t face any bigger problem with the engine. But at the long journeys the engine need rest because this engine heated up very early otherwise in my say every things fine.

Mileage and speed I get:

One of the big reasons of the popularity of Apache RTR 150 is its speed and mileage range which can satisfy any kind of rider’s heart. Along with me other Apache users are also pleased with the performance of this bikes mileage and speed side. From the very beginning my bike is able to provide good mileage and top speed. If I talk about the mileage I have got near about 42 to 45 KM/L mileage from my bike which is one of the best mileages at the 150cc category and till now after two years this bike is providing me this type of mileage. At the speed this bike is also excellent to me. I have personally experienced the speed of 125 KM/H speed but other riders claim that this bike can cross the speed of 130 KM/H easily. So there is no reason to be unhappy with this type of speed and mileage.

The way I take care of my bike:

Whenever I got free time I took care of my bike. I wash my bike with water and other glossy creams at least twice in a month and regular cleaning is a daily part. After running 1000 KM I always change the engine oil for the better performance of my bike. Without these I regularly check my brake shoes, brakes, and tyres etc for the safety of my own. - Headlight of this bike is so powerful.

These things I like most about my bike:

- 0- 60 at 5/ 6 seconds.

- Throttle works very fine and fast.

- Headlight of this bike is so powerful.

- Controlling is good doesn’t vibrates during braking.

- Two years have passed I didn’t serviced the engine and without any problem it is running.

These things I doesn’t like about my bike:

After couple of years without any problem I am using this bike and in my perception I can say I am satisfied.
