Value for moneyBajaj Pulsar AS 150 user review by Akash
This is Md. Morshed Akash student (2nd year) of Varendra College Rajshahi. Every teenager’s dream is to ride a bike, be it passion or showoff, so is mine. I used to seat at my father’s bike and went to school or relatives home but afraid to asked papa for a ride. When I was in class five, I learned to ride and most importantly my father took incentive. My first riding bike was Yamaha Deluxe. After that I have rode several bikes among them Bajaj Pulsar AS 150 took my attention and decide to get this one. Well, I didn’t want it to be a burden for my parents, so I asked them as soft as I could and they agreed on to it. Alhamdulillah, now I have my own bike Bajaj Pulsar AS 150. I got experience of riding 10000+ km and I want to share my point of view about this bike with you. Motive to select
Frankly speaking I am a big fan of its amazing speed as well as sporty outlook. According to me, Compare to other sporty bike Bajaj Pulsar AS 150 has excellent acceleration power which is one of the best points about this bike.
During my riding experience I have face some good and bad. Let’s have a look at the pros and cons of my Bajaj Pulsar AS 150.
Pros,
- As I said above, this bike is one of the best in terms of speed. Though it does majorly deepen on the biker, roads condition and other factors. Considering all factors I have experienced top speed 139 kmph.
- Another remarkable feature of this bike is headlight. It has projection light that give me clear long distance view.
- No problem in doubling. Good enough seating space for the pillion.
Cons,
- Major problem I have faced is its turning radius ratio. Handle is not flexible enough to turn the bike within minimum space.
- Seat height is not comfortable for all. It could have been little bit lower.
- Suspension is not flexible enough to ride smoothly in rough road.
- As a sports bike breaking system is not up to the mark. That makes me sometime confuse to ride at high speed.
Long ride experience
I went to Jamuna Resort, near about 180 km way from Rajshahi, was a good tour. I never feel any back pain or other major issues.
Engine features
Bajaj Pulsar AS 150 has strong engine. Specification of my engine is given below.
Engine: Single cylinder, 4 strokes, SOHC 4 valve, triple spark.
Displacement (cc): 150cc
Max Power: 16.8 BPH @9500 rpm
Max Torque: 13 Nm @ 7000 rpm
Brake Front: Disc & Drum
Mileage, normally depend on the road types, bike riding style as well as engine performance. In my case, I got 45 km per litter. As a sports bike I think it’s admirable.
Verdict
After considering all factors and my riding experience, I would like to give 7 out of ten to my Bajaj Pulsar AS 150.
