Suzuki Gixxer SF user review by Naim
I am Naim and I am a student at present. I live in laxmipur Rajshahi and I am using Suzuki Gixxer 150. I am a motorcycle lover and this is like my drug now, I am addicted.
Few years back I have learned bike riding using Bajaj Discover 100. For doing some personal works like going for tuitions or for family needs I bought this bike after learning bike riding. No especial reason behind having this bike. Till now I have used several bikes like Pulsar 150, Pulsar NS 160, Discover 135 and Honda Hornet 160, though none of them were mine. I am using Gixxer SF for the last three years and by this time I completed 35000 kilometers path. This bike was mainly bought by my elder brother and now he gave it to me. Now if want to say something about this bike then I must start with the engine side.
Engine performance of this motorcycle is excellent that I must say. It is very smooth, it doesn’t get heated earlier, and no bad sound and it can accelerate within no time. Now the next thing is the design. This bike not only has good engine but also the design is outstanding. Body parts and plastics are durable. Larger size fuel tanker with excellent shape gives the overall outlook classy attitude. It can attract peoples easily. I personally like the design very badly but I think the body kits are not up to the mark. Those need to be stronger in their build quality.
Controlling of this bike is amazing in one word because it has awesome braking and suspensions system. Because of these to I face no problems indeed when I was running this bike at the speed of 124 KM/H speed. Without that the seat height is perfect and seating on it long time riding is not painful at all. No problems are also seen using the switches placed at the handle bar. Headlamp offer poor light that I have to say and I have to face little bit of difficulties while night rides. I have ridden at both the city and village roads and I have good excellent comfort from it, no extra vibration or shaking. I feel safe all the time because this bike holds disc braking.
One of the most precious things which a rider is always concern about is the mileage. Three years passed but I am still getting 40-42 KM/L mileage. When it was new I calculated the mileage was 45 KM/L or more.
After visiting the servicing center I didn’t find anything wrong there or anything to complain about. They are well behaved, they have good environment and but they took time to find out the problems and solve them so think they must give effort to solve this problem.
According to the performance I am getting from Suzuki Gixxer SF I think the price is just right. But if the company can reduce the price little bit then the demand will increase that I can say. And the headlamp power required to be increased and that will make this bike perfect from all the side.
If I change this bike then I will go for Honda CBR. So let us see what happens.
