Suzuki Gixxer SF is currently one of the most attractive bikes among the ones that are drawing a lot of attention from bikers. I’m Shuvo, a motorcycle enthusiast. I bought my Suzuki Gixxer SF about one and a half years ago, and till now I’ve ridden around 15,000 km without facing any major issues.
Before this bike, I used to own a Pulsar NS160, which I sold to buy my Suzuki Gixxer SF. From the beginning, I had always liked the Suzuki Gixxer SF, so you might ask why did I buy the Pulsar NS160 first? Well, at that time, when I decided to purchase a bike, Suzuki Gixxer SF wasn’t available anywhere near my area. That’s why I went for the Pulsar NS160. Later, when I planned to change my bike, I finally switched to my favorite one.
As I mentioned, I’ve been using this Suzuki Gixxer SF for about one and a half years now and have ridden nearly 15,000 km during this time. Throughout this long journey, I’ve gathered both good and not-so-good experiences, which I’d like to share with you.

Starting with the positives , the first thing I want to highlight is the engine sound. The sound of this bike is very smooth, which I really love. It provides excellent performance and support on all types of roads. For a 150cc motorcycle, it’s quite powerful and very comfortable to ride.
Honestly, there aren’t many bad sides to talk about. However, the gear lever feels a bit stiff, and the sound it makes while shifting gears is quite annoying. I usually get around 38 km/l in the city and over 40 km/l on highways, which I think is quite perfect.
I’ve ridden my Suzuki Gixxer SF continuously for 110 km in one go, and during that entire ride, apart from the engine getting slightly overheated, I didn’t face any other problems. Compared to other brands, the maintenance cost of this bike is quite low, which makes me really happy. And if I ever decide to replace this bike in the future, I’d definitely go for the Suzuki GSX-R.
