Yamaha is a name of love to me. I always trusteed this brand and for the last five years I have used FZS. A few days back I wanted to have a sports bike, and what can be the best choice then Yamaha R15 V3. It is a not a bike it become a piece of love to me. I do a job, and business besides, therefore I required a regular vehicle, and I have one. But V3 is just a piece of token of love to me, which is why I handle this bike with care and less often. 3400 kilometers ride is completed with my bike and today I would like to share some of my experiences with you about this monster.

Let me start with the likings first:

- As I said already this bike is one of the precious thing to me, so no doubt that I like the outlook most. Color graphics, design, sticker I like all of it. Nothing to complain about.

- The very next thing I like about this bike is the mileage and speed. The EFi engine is giving me an excellent performance. At long rides I am getting near around 45 KM/L mileage, which no one ever expected from the V2, or V1. We all know speed is the best part of R15 V3. My personal experience is 142 KM/H with pillion. So I must say this monster has really a powerful engine.

- If I say about the overall performance, it is excellent. People complains about back pain, wrist pain, but I haven’t faced any of it till now. Controlling is much better because of the ABS braking, no skidding indeed, I can handle this bike in any situation. As a sports bike it offers better control.

- Best part about my bike is speed, I never feel discomfort while riding at good speed. Everything remains the same actually at high speed.

On the other hand I have a few dislikes about this bikes too:

- I think the headlamp is not worth to be a called best for this bike. Because of it riding at night becomes tough. An extra fog light is necessary, because the lack of power.

- Though it is my personal opinion, but I think the engine sound can be much smoother. It can a feature of sports bike, but I really don’t like the sound of this bike.

Within these 3400 kilometers I went for long journeys for several times. 280 kilometers in one day was the highest, and truly I was comfortable with this bike. I didn’t feel any back, or wrist pain. Yes, this bike is not made to ride with pillions, but single rides are best. I am satisfied with this bike and I am enjoying the company of Yamaha R15 V3.
