By taking the name of almightily and without influencing by RUNNER I am writing this review of small segment bike of Runner, even though I didn’t have that much time but today I am going to write down all my feelings about this bike.

First of all why I bought this bike?
I don’t like long journeys that much and especially when it comes with bike not at all. For travelling to office and home I was in need an average bike. I was not sure how long I am going to stay in my country that’s why I want to have a bike which can give me better service for almost 2-3 years and within reasonable price. That’s why I purchased this bike.

Within the 80-90 thousand Taka price tags many bikes were available but I like this bike the most. And to be honest I really want to have this bike because I didn’t want to sell this bike and want to show as a antic piece to my grandchildren’s. In that kind of case Honda must be the main priority but I didn’t like the spoke rim and the combination of white and silver color that’s why I gave priority to Deluxe.



I want to begin with the bad sides of this bike-
-Poor acceleration.
- Average front suspension, can be better.
- Stock headlamp seems to like torchlight.
-At first 1-2 thousand kilometers and awful type sound is Runners bikes set object.
- Rear tire skids very badly.
- Overall seat is not large enough.
- Without any reason the odometer stats to jump after 1-2 hour run.
- Kind of nation problem of Runner is – Sometimes engine shut downs automatically.

These given problems are not that big problems which can make you feel to stop using this bike.

Now let us talk about the good sides-

- As a commuter bike and according to the price this bike has great outlooks and will be listed at the top 3 according to its segment.
- Indicators are like Bajaj bikes and they are durable as well.
- Fuel capacity 11 liters and it can offer at least 55+ KM/L mileage and that’s why I can easily ride my way.
- Though it has Drum braking but they offers effective braking.
- Short turning radius that’s why betunred within tiny place can easily.
- Riding is comfortable enough with pillions.
- Amazing tail lamp can catch the eyes.

This was the regular good things of my bike but after making few changes I am getting some extra performance from this bike too.

- I placed 3”/17 Tubeless Stock tire
- Replaced the rear tire of my bike with the front tire of Apache RTR (90/90-17).
- Used tire Gel.
- Placed imported silencer Muffler from Thailand.

After all these changes I thought that now I will face the shortage of speed and mileage. But with 50+ Kg weighted pillion and with almost 20 KG luggage I have got 101 KM/H constant speed for 3-4 kilometers at the Jamuna Bridge. And when I was about to cross the bridge I have got 104 KM/H top speed with my bike.

I have ridden 80—85 Kilometers with a rider pillion at 90 KM/H speed. Taking approx 7-8 minutes
rest travelled again the same way. At that time engine didn’t heat up that much. So the fact is I have travelled almost 201 Kilometers path from Dhaka-Bogra by taking only 7-8 Kilometers rest.

I have got the mileage approximate 40-45 at the first stage but now it 55+ and at the highways I have got 60+ mileage at top speed. After changing the tire my confidence has risen and getting better grip, turning, speed and mileage. At the 3rd gear riding at the mohakhali flyover I have got 75 KM/H speed.

Stock battery is perfect of this bike; with 7 A batteries I am perfectly using the 40W HD headlamp and 12+12 W Fog lights absolutely. Horn of this bike is also perfect I think.

Looking glass was not that much pleasant. I replaced it with the looking glass of Hero Glamour. Also replaced the handle bar and placed the Hero Hunks handle bar. Brake pad and the air filter didn’t need to be change at present I guess and I personally do the warring.

5000 kilometers has crossed and I service this bike only for twice. After purchasing this bike once I have visited the runner showroom. Because I made few changes my warranty is no longer exists.
For the first 2500 Kilometers I have used Castrol 20/40 and now I am using MOTUL 20/50 pure synthetic engine oil.

At the highways I never felt that this bike has less weight. And at the 70-80 KM/H speed the vibration is same as the other bikes. In regular riding at 60-65 KM/H speed no vibrations at all.


Till now no changes at the body parts except me personally replaced. Already I have said a lot and hopefully I will say more if needed.
