Design and looks:
At the first glance we will not realize this is a 125cc commuter and it’s because of its design and color combination. The front headlamp cowl of the YAMAHA Saluto looks bolder and the other features like font disc, the front mudguard, the fuel tank and the overall body dimension looks attractive. Furthermore, as a commuter this bikes color combination has great impact on it, because it is matte shaded and contrasted with the yellowish color. Engine:
The Yamaha Saluto is powered by a 125cc, Air cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve engine that produces
8.18 Bhp @ 7000 rpm max power and 10.1 Nm @ 4500 rpm of max torque. This motor engineis mated with a four-speed gearbox. CDI type ignition and 10.0: 1 compression ratio of this engine offers excellent performance and delivers good fuel economy. According to the company this bike is can run on 98 KM/H top speed and 78 KM/L mileage will be provided from his engine, though these are approximate because all the measurements are checked under special conditions. To fire up the engine this bike has both electric and kick starting options.




Wheels and Tires:
Yamaha Saluto 125 SE is equipped with 18 inches six-spoke matte Black finished rims. 80/100-18” 47P tubeless tire at the front and 80/100-18” 54P tubeless tire at the rear wheel is placed for Saluto SE.

Brakes:
For Saluto 125 SE Yamaha used the combination of both disc and drum braking. It comes with 240mm disk brake with a single-piston caliper in the front and 130mm drum brake at the rear. The disk brake setup should deliver superior braking performance.



Suspension:
Saluto SE is equipped with Hydraulic Telescopic forks suspension at the front and spring-loaded hydraulic shocks at the rear which are attached with rectangular swing arm. For better riding and comfort this kind of suspension is really effective in many ways.



Electrical and meter console:
The instrument console of the Saluto 125 SE is an analog unit. For this panel Yamaha has given speedometer, an odometer, fuel gauge indicator, service indicator and many more things.The turn signal indicator, headlight indicator, and neutral indicator are placed in the top of the console.
For the electrical side it has 12V,5.0Ah/5.0Ah(10HR) battery to operate all the electrical features including bright Halogen bulb 12V,35/35W×1Multi reflector clear lens AC head lamp, 12V,21/ 5W x 1 tail light, and each 10 W clear lens turn signal lights.
