Keeway K Light 7000km riding experiences by Tarik Al Nehal

I am Tarikul Islam and now I’m using one of the most stylish and attractive cruiser Keeway K-Light 150. Till now I have ride 7000km and today I’m going to share my e4xperience about this bike to you through motorcyclevalley and I hope it will become helpful for you. Till now my experience about this bike is very good.

The acceleration of this bike is very good, till 98kmph it can pick speed smoothly. After that the speed rise slowly according to the road.

I don’t have any attraction towards high speed that’s why till now I don’t check the top speed of this bike. But when I was returning from Chittagong to Dhaka the road was clear and I picked up 108kmph speed.

The braking system of this bike is very good. After getting this kind of braking system the confidence of mine has increased. I have controlled this bike and save myself from some certain accidents only because of the braking system of this bike.

I also like the balance of this bike. The weight of this bike is very good and because of the center of gravity of this bike is low so it never fall easily.

As a cruiser bike it is not 100% comfortable. I have complain about the siting position of this bike. Though the sitting position looks attractive but it is not that much comfortable. During long ride I feel pain in my body.

I’m disappointed about the mileage of this bike. First 2000km I have got 25-30kmpl but I was happy with the hope that after 2000km it will increase but till now I’m getting 30kmpl.

In the beginning there were a lot of problems in my bike. The start turns off when I pick speed and hold clutch (it again take start when I open the cover of the fuel tank for some time). During gear sifting something hit on the chain though I adjust the free play after 300km every time. Sometimes the gear automatically turns to neutral during sunning and at that time I can shift the gear. This kind of problems I have faced in the beginning. The authorized service center didn’t solve this problems and they told me that all of this will solve automatically during riding this bike. But I have serviced this bike twice outside and most of the problems become solved.


Last of all I must say I have purchased this bike only because of the look of this bike, I always wanted a cruiser bike that’s why I have purchased this bike. I’m very much happy with this bike.
