Honda X Blade
is a sharper, more molded, and sportier version of Honda CB Hornet 160R. While both the bikes share the same platform and engine and deliver the same kind of performance, but the X Bladeis considered as a commuter motorcycle by the company. This bike features an aggressive design, with more cuts and creases along the design line. However, users are very satisfied with the overall performance, but there is some downside as well. Let us checkout the pros and cons of Honda X Blade that can help you choose better.

Honda X Blade Pros:

  1. Futuristic design with perfection:

Looking at Honda X Blade 160 you will see the robo-face LED headlamp is a first-in-segment feature which gives the bike a unique look. The tail light is a razor-edged LED unit making the bike even sleeker. Making the bike even more groovy are the pillion grab rails. Up ahead, a windscreen adds to the sportiness of the commuter.

  1. Digital panel for better convenience:

The instrument panel of Honda X Blade is a fully digital unit with gear position indicator and other tell-tale lights. You will find everything in this blue backlit LCD meter cluster.

  1. Deal wisely on emergency:

There is a hazard light switch which can prove itself to be useful during night rides and in emergency situations for Honda X Blade.

  1. Excellent comfort and handling:

The comfort of the pillion and the rider has been kept in mind with the offering of a long single-piece seat which provides enough space. Even the handling of Honda X Blade is smoother and easy.

  1. Perfect mileage range:

Though Honda X Blade is one of the bulkier commuter, but the bike has a mileage of 45-50 km/l under mixed riding conditions.

Honda X Blade Cons:

  1. No engine kill switch:

Like most of the Honda bikes there is an absence of an engine kill switch which makes the ride annoying in stop-and-go traffic.

  1. Thinner tire section:

However, the mileage range of this bike is good, but the tires are thinner when compared to other bulkier bikes.

  1. Less effective lights:

The illumination of the LED headlamp seems to be dim when compared to that of a halogen headlamp.
