Bajaj Pulsar 150 motorcycle ownership review by Shirsho Khan

In my opinion at modern world transportation must have to be well because of our own and what should be the better transport then motorcycles. These vehicles are very handy, reasonable in price and their maintenance is not as high as like four wheeler vehicles. From my childhood I was attracted to this vehicle vary badly and I always wanted to have my own motorcycle. After I admitted myself to university that attraction became to determination. Few days later I bought one of the best selling motorcycle in our country named Bajaj Pulsar 150 which I always wanted to have. Three years have passed I am using this fantastic motorcycle and I pleased with its performance. This motorcycle contains every modern feature which a rider need. Now from bellow the lines I will share my own thoughts and experience about my bike which can b helpful to other riders or Pulsar users.

Why I liked this motorcycle:

- Strong and durable.
- Low maintenance.
- Stylish and uncommon decent look
- Comfortable enough to ride at any roads.

Controlling and Handling experience:

In my say Controlling and handling of this motorcycle is very trouble-free. Because this bike is much heavier and for this reason when it runs at the streets it is able to provide smooth controlling. Usually I use my bike for traveling in city roads and in my personal knowledge this motorcycle is easy to control for its straighter design and lovely sitting position. Sometimes turning at the curve roads with this bike became uncomfortable because of its larger size and but it has good road grip and for this reason difficulties doesn’t occurred for the riders. Along with city roads I also travelled many long journeys and I am pleased with my bikes performance at those times.

Long drive experience:

I would like to ensure other riders that this bike is able to provide mileage, speed and comfort all three at the long journeys but sometimes bike vibrates much at the top speed during long journey and that time engine needs rest for a while. I have travelled Few very long journeys such as from my city to our capital which about 300 KM. my bike supported me well at those times very well. For the 50- 100 Km journeys this bike is very suitable in my perception.

Performance of the Engine:

Every kind of motorcycle user knows that Bajaj Pulsar motorcycles contains good engine. This motorcycle is assembled with 149cc 4-stroke, DTS-i, air cooled, single cylinder. This engine can produce high quality max power of 15.6PS @ 9000 rpm and torque of 12.5 N m @ 6500 rpm and because of this type of power and torque riders can have superior performance without any doubt. I am using this motorcycle for past three year in my own experience I have got better-quality performance with this bike than the other bikes I have ride.Other part of the engine also gives good performance.

Speed and mileage I get from by bike:

From the very beginning this bike is always best at its top speed and mileage. This bike built up with great combination of them both. I have ride this motorcycle with other rider pillion and I got top speed of 115 KM/H which really unbelievable. I think with one rider this bike cam easily exits the speed of 130KM/H top speed without any doubt. This bike doesn’t disappoint me at the mileage performance of its own. I have got 40 KM/L plus mileage all the time it remains same at present.

Braking experience:

Braking side of this bike is just awesome and very effective. I feel very safe with the braking system of this bike. At the brakes this motorcycle contains Disc brakes at the front and Drum Brakes at rear side. This type of braking is really very effective at different types of situation and I am very satisfied with the performance. This bike also contains good suspensions I have experienced very smooth riding with the help of these suspensions.

Good side:

- Great color combination and Good styling.
- Good Acceleration.
- Good sound of the engine.
- DC power system, so bright head light
- Parts are available.
- Good suspension.
- Acceptable Mileage and good speed.
- Very good resale value.
- Durable enough for long term use.

Bad side:

- Seat is not soft enough for long journey.
- Sometimes gear shifting is hard.
- Narrow tyres.

In a word, I can say I have fallen in love with this bike. Till now I won’t complain much about this bike. I have serviced the engine only for once.
