Bajaj Platina 100 Motorcycle User Review by Bokul

At modern days motorcycles are one of the most loving and attractive vehicles. It saves time and gives a very enjoyable riding experience. I also belong to modern society and that is why I am also attracted to this vehicle from my childhood. I used to saw my father riding motorcycles and I was passionate about this from that time. After I passed my SSC examination I learned to ride motorbike from my elder brother. After one year my father bought a new motorcycle named Bajaj Platina. Since then I used to ride my father motorcycle. It has been three years I am riding this motorcycle I have gathered lots of experience about this motorcycle. Now from bellow the lines I will share my experience about Bajaj Platina.

Design:
Bajaj Platina motorcycle is not so stylish but its decent looks can attract any kind of rider who loves to use commuter category motorbikes. This bike contains straight and handsomely made chassis which can carry three or more passengers easily. For better comfort this sitting position of the rider is really well and the color combination makes those things more charming without any doubt. So in my perception I am totally satisfied with the looks because it is not a sports bike.

Engine performance:
Engine performance of Bajaj is always better than other Indian bikes. So Platina won’t break that record of Bajaj Company. Most of the Platina users are delighted with the engine performance of this motorcycle alongside me. This motorcycle is created 4 Stroke, natural air cooled 99.27cc engine. This engine is able to produce excellent max power of 6.03Kw (8.2bhp) @ 7500rpm and torque of 8.05 Nm @ 4500rpm and because of this type of power and torque riders can have better performance without any hesitation. I am using this motorcycle for past three years in my own experience I have got better-quality performance with this bike than the other bikes I have ride. This bike contains DCDI ignition technology that’s why internal burning occurred much better than other 100cc bikes. Engine sound of this motorcycle remains the same after almost two or three years. This is the most pleasant thing which I loved about this bike. This bike contains good engine as well as good design.

Controlling experience:
In my personal opinion controlling and handling this motorcycle is very trouble-free at good speed and average speed both. Generally I use this motorcycle for traveling in short roads and in my personal experience this motorcycle is easy to control for its straight and simple design because this bike is not so heavy or so light weighted at all. Cornering with Platina 100 is not so tough and it will give you very smooth experience that I can promise thus this bike contains narrow tyres. Because this bike holds good dimension and ground clearance controlling side is much better.

Speed and mileage:
Commuter bike always give good mileage everyone knows that and Platina is also capable to do that. I am totally satisfied with the mileage of this bike. From the very beginning this bike is always best at its mileage. This bike is able to give 70 KM/L mileage and I personally calculated the mileage. This bike doesn’t disappoint me at the top speed performance of its own. I have got 80 plus mileage all the time whether I had one or more pillion with me.

Suspension and braking:
In my observation Braking and suspension are also very important part of a motorbike. Without their good performance accident can occur any time. At this motorcycle both these features are really well and both are very effective. At the brakes this motorcycle contains both Drum brakes. At our city roads they work very well and risk free I am very satisfied with the performance. Suspensions of Platina are also helpful; this bike has Hydraulic, Telescopic Type suspensions at the both side of this motorcycle. This type of suspension helped me at different roads and provided good riding experience. So at this side every rider can feel secured with the brakes and suspension of Platina.

Pros:

- Controlling and handling are superb.

- Better-quality performance of the engine.

- Larger in size.

Cons:

- Narrow tyres.

- No electric start.

Three years have passed and my riding experience with this bike is very suitable. As commuter category bike It has combination of good power and speed. I am completely pleased with it. And I hope other users will also be pleased.
