Design &Style:

When it comes to the design and style this Retro designed Yamaha XSR 155 has exchanged the similar design like its elder sibling Yamaha XSR 900.The headlamp, fuel tank, the handlebar is taken from XSR 900, apart from these things, side framework and other things the design is classy and new. While it has Variable Valve Actuation system (VVA), which monitors the rider's improve performance even at low RPM. Not only that A&S (assist and slipper) clutch is adopted to reduce the weight of the clutch pull and provide low-stress shifting during deceleration. The A&S helps to reduce exhaustion for the rider. Because of this technology clutch becomes smooth, and enjoyable during downshifts. On the other hand,XSR 155 contains 6-speed transmission which allows to cruise at low RPM even in higher gears. 11.6:1 compression ratio is set for this engine and electric starting option is found to fire up. Frame and Body Dimensions:

If you look at this Retro cafe racer, you will automatically realize the body dimension is not similar to a standard or sports bike. These type of café racers don’t have regular body dimensions, they are not short in length, even so wider like sports bikes as well. This bike is built withergonomic riding position, a well-cushioned seat and wide handlebar for better comfort and stability on long rides. Now, if we look into the body dimensions, the overall length of this bike is 2000 mm, width 805 mm, height 1080 mm. In addition, the ground clearance is 170 mm, seat height 810 mm and wheelbase size 1330 mm. It can contain 10 liters of fuel inside its fuel tanker. Comparing to the other heavy duty Yamaha models this bike seems to be light weighted, the kerb weight is only 134 kg. The overall structure is put together over a delta-box frame.


Suspensions and brakes:

For the suspension system Yamaha used two type of suspensions system in XSR.Regular telescopic fork suspension is placed at the front and the classy mono-shock is seen at the rear side.
For the brakes Bosch Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) helps in achieving improved braking performance by providing better stability and control at all speeds without any wheel lockups and skidding even in slippery conditions. Dual channel ABS is the new added feature for this bike which is mated with Hydraulic (282 mm)disc at the front and rear Disc measurement is 220 mm.


Wheels and tires:

Both side stylish alloy rims are placed for better stability and longevity on any roads. Besides tires are tubeless and long lasting with it quality. The front-wheel gets 110/70-17 and the rear gets 140/70-17 section tubeless radial tyres.


Meter cluster:

Its dashboard remains classic and fully digital. Already mentioned the retro café racer contains round shaped cluster, which is brighter and informative. Nevertheless, it looks small, however you will get all the essential features like Odometer, Trip meter, Tachometer, fuel gauge, clock, etc.


Electrical:

For all the electrical 12V, 4.0Ah (10HR) battery is placed for XSR 155. To take on the darkest streets with confidence and enjoy enhanced night vision LED headlight is placed for this bike. Hi and low beam has been integrated into one single compact unit which makes it technically advanced.
