Design and style
Bajaj Discover125 (2018) might hold the same impression like the old model but this bike is has bold look with smarter headlight design, short visor, cool fuel tank design and appealing graphics all over the body panels. Chassis and dimension
Talking about the chassis this all new model is build on a Semi-double cradle chassis that gives support to overall body dimension to perform with durability and quickness. Over this chassis the dimensions of the bike are 2035mm length, 760mm width and 1085 mm height. It has a wheelbase of 1305mm and minimum ground clearance of 165mm. seat height seems good enough and the measurement is 805 mm. rider will also not have any problems with a kerb weight of 121 Kg and fuel tank capacity of the bike is 8 liters.



Engine
Bajaj Discover 125 contains a 124.5 cc, 4 stroke, Air cooled single cylinder, SOHC, DTS-i engine which is mated to a 5-speed gearbox, which makes the ride more comfortable. The engine generates a maximum power of 11Ps@7500 rpm with a max torque of 11 Nm@ 5500 rpm. According to the company with this type of engine this bike has enough strength to offer top speed of 100 KM/H. This bikes engine can be started with a push of a electric stating button or kick start.

Brakes and suspensions
This bike comes with the combination of Disc and drum braking system. 200 mm Disc brakes are placed at the front and 130 mm Drum brakes are placed at the rear side.

Suspensions of this bike are more stable and 16% perfect and smoother than before claimed by the company. It has 140 mm Fork travel, Telescopic front suspension and 120 mm Rear Wheel travel, Nitrox (Gas filled)rear suspensions.



Tyres and wheels
Over both stylish and newly designed alloy wheels 2.75 X 17 front tyres and 100/90- 17 rear tyres are placed. They are able to offer excellent gripping and stability.



Electrical and meter panel
Already mentions about the new added LED DRL at the headlamp along with halogen, stylish tail lamps bezel. Without that it has LED turning lamps, pass light etc electrical features too and those are operated with 12 V 5 Ah battery. Most importantly this bike now holds headlamp switches which was missing at the previous models because of the AHO technology.

The instrument panel of the bike is now holds the combination of analogue and digital panel. With twin dials displaying speedometer, fuel gauge, odometer and trip meter, the digital panel is lighten with orange light. It helps the users to see the features use perfectly.
