What is engine flash and how to do it?

Engine has to clean it self by regular maintenance of engine oil, just like oil draining and other things, but in some reason people don’t care about this things and some people use oils more than its drain period and also using local / low quality engine oil can also make trash in engine, these can make engine much slower and you won’t get the optimum performance of your bike, today we will discuss about the process of engine flush.

• Now a days there is many additives available for engine flush, we recommend to use a well-known brand additives which is original and suitable for your bike, so all you have to do is mix the additives with your old engine oil with the recommended quantity.

• then start idol on your bike, make sure you won’t rev the engine, the full process will take around 10-15 minutes, depends on brand, then wait for some time to get oil down from engine head, drain the oil for at least 5-10 minute’s and don’t let a drop of engine oil, then fill with new engine oil.

• These is a myth in biking community that is using diesel as engine flush, some of local technician recommend to do engine flush using diesel, but that’s harmful for your bike, because engine flush is a little bit tough process and it takes a time of 10-15 minutes.

• As we all know that engine has a grade of its own and we can’t use anything that is not recommended by manufacturer and that doesn’t have enough viscosity, so using diesel is not good for you bike.

• Using local and non-graded mineral engine can make your engine dust and dirt because these engine oil is less refined and it doesn’t have the cleaning additives which is present on branded engine oil, they use the additive in there all kind of oil, just like mineral, semi-synthetic and full synthetic oils.

• Engine flush is not that necessary for all bikes, because if you are using a good engine oil and use it by recommended period then it might be a chance not to do engine flush early because it needed when your bike is too old just like 50,000-60,000 kilometers run.
