Engine

This bike comes with a 155cc Liquid Cooled 4V SOHC FI engine which generates an impressive 19.3PS @ 10,000 RPM max power and 14.7 N.m @ 8500 RPM max torque. While it has a Variable Valve Actuation system (VVA) which monitors the rider's improved performance even at low RPM. The Hyper Naked performance with VVA delivers 0 - 60km/h in just 3.78 sec which is claimed by the manufacturer itself, as the fastest in its class! Not only that A&S (assist and slipper) clutch is adopted to reduce the weight of the clutch pull and provide low-stress shifting during deceleration. The A&S helps to reduce exhaustion for the rider. Because of this technology clutch becomes smooth and enjoyable during downshifts. On the other hand, The MT 15 contains 6-speed transmission which allows cruising at low RPM even in higher gears. 11.6:1 compression ratio is set for this engine and the electric starting option is found to fire up.

Tyre and Breaking

For the brakes, the front Disc with Bosch Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) helps in achieving improved braking performance by providing better stability and control at all speeds without any wheel lockups and skidding even in slippery conditions. Rear Disc brakes also provide good efforts for more quality braking. Single channel ABS is the newly added feature for this bike which is mated with a Hydraulic (282 mm) disc at the front and rear Disc measurement is 220 mm. On both side, Alloy wheels and tubeless tires are placed. The measurement of front Wheel travel is 130 mm and the rear one is 97mm. tires size are measured 100/80-17M/C 52P at the front and 140/70-17M/C 66H at the rear side.
