Runner Bringing KTM Bike

One of the well known bike brand among the young generation in Bangladesh is KTM and this premium brand soon be available in Bangladesh by Runner Automobiles as they have announced this yesterday and complete the agreement with Bajaj India.

Chief financial officer of Runner Automobiles MR. Shanta Datta said, “Runner will distribute the higher segment bikes of Bajaj in Bangladesh as the young generation always prefer new features and amazing look and from this point of view Runner decided to take over the distributorship.

Runner already has the distributorship of American brand UM and Italian brand Vespa and Aprilia and they are on the way to settle up the assembly plant in Bhaluka, Mymensingh and this plant will start shaping the bikes of KTM from the next month.

Now Japanese companies Yamaha and Suzuki are selling premium motorcycles in Bangladesh, Datta further said.

The current market share of premium motorcycles is about 15 per cent whereas it was only 5 per cent just four years ago. So the KTM will gain an ideal space on the market among the premium bikes of Yamaha and Suzuki
Currently, KTM is exclusively manufactures the Duke range.
