Whether to change oil filter while changing engine oil

After a certain time we have to change the engine oil of our bike, if we go to the nearest service center or mechanic, they change the engine oil, but when we go to the service center of many brands, they advise to change the oil filter along with the engine oil. Although our cost increases slightly, it has several advantages, which are discussed below.

• Engine oil reduces engine friction and smoother the engine, and the wear and tear from the engine during the bike ride accumulates in the bike's oil filter.

• When changing engine oil, many people say that there is no problem if the oil filter is not changed every time, but if you do not change it every time the engine oil drains, the old engine oil will mix with the new engine oil and it will lose color quickly.



• The oil filter contains a lot of dirt and debris from the engine, which if not changed can mix with the new engine oil and quickly contaminate the engine oil.

• The oil filter contains some engine oil, so not changing it can cause the old engine oil to mix with the new one and reduce its concentration.
