Zongshen ZS-80 Ownership review by Ataur

Zongshen ZS-80

I am K.M. Ataur Rahman, I congratulate all the members and visitors of Motorcycle Valley with Anemone floral scent. We will discuss in details about the practical facility of Zongshen Z. S 80 model motor bikes according to my personal experience.

I live in a remote village of Natore district Durlabhapure, Noldanga. I am working as a Head master of a local primary school named Durlabhapura Government Primary School which is controlled by the Directorate of Primary Education. From my residence the employment land or buildings are at a distance of 3 km. Inaccessible road does not say much because the condition of the road is very bad. The only reliable way is by train. But the situation and the time table of the train is not to trust in this modernized world. To reduce the sufferings I thought a lot for a motorcycle and for that thought in the year 2010 I bought Zongshen Z. S 80 that cost me 63,000 Taka. The market value of this Motorcycle is now 85000 Taka. Few months later I had my registration and driving license.

I was a little scared to motor bikes from a young age. As in recent years, there are so many accidents! Maybe I cannot control bigger / heavier vehicle easily. That’s why I have chosen this Zongshen Z. S 80 model motor bike. Now I think that it was a very good decision.

Zongshen ZS-80

Wheel base: 1210 mm.
Weight: 85 kg.
Max load: 145 kg.
Maximum speed: 120 km/h.

Advantages:
Zongshen Super 80 is a medium size beautiful red color bike. In absence of Heavyweight this bike is easily controlled, which is very necessary for the new drivers. Although this bike is 80 cc but this bike is quite powerful. Longer routes are well beyond even tripled or doubled. Though this bike is 80 cc but it seems like its size is a little more than other bikes. So it’s not that hard to sit three. 12 volt battery powered horn is very nice and its battery is larger than usual size batteries. Their rectangular headlight gives enough light in the dark. Adjusted music has been also used with the turning indicators. There are two feet thick metal front engine protector in both sides which gives protection to the legs and knees in case of an accident. Electric Starter is a very useful thing in case the vehicle is turned off in the middle of a jam or other hazards you can quickly start the motorcycle. People of any height can hold it with two legs easily. Its seat is wide and comfortable to sit. 80 cc bike but 60 km / h velocity does not seem to allow smaller driving experience and yes, it cuts beyond 90 kilo meters, but it is usually not logical thing to do. No clutch, brake or handle problem at any form come to my attention. One of the best aspects of my motorcycle is its very low fuel consumption. It can run up to 70 kilometers in just 1 liter petrol. Both the front and rear shock sup spring of the wheels are quite thick and strong.

Difficulties:
- Because of its small size, this bike is quite jumpy with a little speed.
- The issue of excessive load on the engine.
- Spoke is used in the wheel, when the cast was much better.
- It’s hard to handle the knee, when the driver is a tall one.
- More likely to slip on tight brakes.

How I Care:
At least once per week I wash it well. Almost every day I use a clean cloth to remove dust cap, in case of nut-bolt and other parts I prefer to use coconut oil if necessary. Accumulation of excess dirt in the plug and oil line can block them. If there seems to be a little trouble, I always go to the automobile workshop for a routine medical check-up.

Caution:
Generally I do not drive motorcycle without a helmet, vehicle papers for emergency. I do not talk on the cell phone while moving though it is a matter of emergency. I do check and change mobil regularly. I try to comply with traffic laws perfectly.

No more today, I wish a better future for everyone. Good bye.
