Taro GP1 V3 feature review:

Taro is one of most popular Italian motorcycle brand, which is getting popular in terms of Bangladesh. Though it’s an Italian brand origin, but they manufacture their motorcycles in China. This manufacturer is known for their aggressive full-faired and naked sports bikes. When Taro GP1was launched in Bangladesh in Bangladesh, they have got excellent response from the bikers. That bike came with super sporty looks and eye catchy design as well. Full-faired sports bike in Bangladesh has been always granted as the youth choice and that’s why Taro became very attractive. Taro offers stunning looking full-faired sports bikes at a low price, as well as gained trust for their engine performance. Taro Bangla is their sole distributor of Taro in Bangladesh, and they recently introduced the Version 3 for the Taro GP1 series. After all the success of Taro GP1 and Taro GP v2, the latest version of this series comes with the same sort of engine capacity and the basic design. However, some changes are added in this new version. So, let’s take a look at this bike’s overview.

Design and looks:

The first thing which we will talk about is the Design and looks. In terms of this matter, design and color outline are totally different for this new Taro GP1 V3. At the first glance, anyone who loves full fairing sports bike must be admit the manufacturing company did a great job with its design. Starting from the front the bike looks intimidating, and the overall design is inspired by some of the international sports monsters like Aprilia RSV4. Its headlight is equipped with Dual-projection LED light with an LED DRL which is reassemble with an eyebrow that makes this bike look super aggressive. Not only the headlight, but the tail and side indicator lights are also LED. In addition, this bikes fairing and side panels are also newly designed. GP1 V3 is made over trellis frame that also enhances the outlook. The rear side is also looks sharp and edgy. TARO logo is also mounted over the muscular fuel tank and fairing. The split seats are wide enough and also well-cushionedand the three step clip-on handlebar will provide a sporty feel to ride. Overall, color outlines and the design turns this bike into a monster which riders want to keep in their bag.

Engine and transmission:

Taro GP1 V3 gets more prevailing and different engine setup than the previous edition. Now the new version has a 4-stroke, Single cylinder, Liquid-cooled, 155.2cc engine and can agitate out 19 bhp@ 9500 rpm max power and 16.5 Nm of torque @ 9000 rpm. That shows a big difference between the new and previous versions. Due the power increase the engine performance and the top speed will also increase. For the smooth transmission Taro installed 6-speed gearbox and wet multi-plate clutch.

Body Dimensions:

Taro GP1 V3 gets the standard measurements as a full-faired sports bike. However, this new model is somewhat bigger than the previous version. The length of this bike is 2050 mm, width 720 mm, height 1155 mm, seat height 800 mm and the standard ground clearance is 180 mm. One of the drawback of the dimension is seat height of 800 mm that might be an issue short heighted riders. This bike can hold 13.5 liter of fuel and combining everything the kerb weight is 150 KG.

Suspension and Brakes:

Taro GP1 V3 gets Telescopic fork suspension in the front and swing arm mono-shock suspension for the rear wheel. However, for a sports bike like this, the front suspension could be a USD. Taro uses 300mm dual disc and in the rear 240 mm disc brake. We often see a front dual-disc brake bike in Bangladesh. These disc brakes also enhance the outlook of this bike. Dual Channel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) is also placed for the enhanced safety and control.

110/70-17 and 150/70-17 section tyres are installed for Taro GP1 V3. 150 section rear tyre seems to be common in Taro but not in the market of Bangladesh. Consequently, it is a plus for controlling, better stability and more efficient cornering.

Meter cluster:

Taro put in a TFT advance dashboard on this new version. This instrument cluster is much brighter and clear on Taro GP1 V3. It also has two theme for this dashboard. The odometer, trip meter, tachometer, fuel gauge, gear indicator features are all available in this bike.

Final words:

Taro GP1 V3 is available with three different color shade in other countries. But in Bangladesh, only dark black with blue outline is available.Going through the past records, Taro got a great response from the users, especially who likes bold and aggressive sports bikes. It is a SYMBOL OF ELEGANCE - premium grade sports motorcycle within a very reasonable price indeed. As a result this bike also has a great demand among the bikers of Bangladesh.
