Runner Turbo 150 user review by Mostafiz Rubel

I am Mostafiz Rubel. I am in a job. I have purchased my Runner Turbo 150cc on 20-11-2015. I have already ride around 7626KM. This my first review. I will try to describe the positive and negative side of this bike.

Lets start.

Engine: Engine of Runner Turbo 150cc is 148.2cc which provides 8.5Kw@7300rpm power and 11.5Nm@5500rpm of torque. It is air cooled single cylinder engine.

Performance: Although power of this bike is little poor than other 150cc bike but its weight is 129Kg. This low weight helps its to meet the premium speed in a short time.

Looks, Feel and Build Quality:
Looks: I think Turbo 150 is the most powerful bike from Runner. I like its look very much. It is not a belower from any other 150cc bike in Bangladesh. Design of Headlight of this bike is excellent. In a word, design of this bike is awesome. I fall in love at first sight.

Feel: I am using this bike from last 11 months. I have used another 150cc bike before it. I feel a sporty falvor and racing feelings when I ride Turbo 150.

Build Quality: It is nearly hard say about the build quality before 20000 KM ride. I have ride around 7626KM and I feel that the build quality of Runner Turbo is good. I have only changed brakes and clutch cables of my bike. Engine sound is very smooth. As it was on the first day.

Handling and Breaking:
Turbo 150 did not disapoint me about handling like other 150cc bike. I have ride comforly in Dhaka city. I never feel out of control. I ride 80-90km/h when I get chance, and can controll the speed when I want. (Ride your bike within your control). Alhamdulillah, I did not make any accident till now. I think controlling of Turbo is very good.

Braking system is well. But not better than fazer. I think Runner should focus on braking system of Turbo 150. I never feel any discomfort on braking when I ride normal speed.

Top Speed and Millage:
My top speed on Turbo 150 is 106km/h. Generally I use Dhaka cantonment road-Bijoy shoroni to my office route. Mileage of my bike is around 50km/l.

Value For Money:
150cc bike only at 140,000 taka. Is there any better bike within this price? There some cheap bike in the market but they do not last long, they have not enough servicing centers, have no after sales service. Runner Auto Mobiles is a Bangladeshi brand. They have enough servicing center in the country, So, I purchase this bike for this reason. Service quality of Runner is fair enough. And finally, this bike has lots of features.

Drawbacks:
No bikes are 100% error free. Every facilities are not available in a bike. I dislike some features of Runner Turbo 150-

- BHP: BHP of Runner Turbo is 11.4. It is poor as a 150cc bike. It should be 12+Bhp.
- Torque: I expected more torque for this bike.
- Tire: The wrost part of this bike. Very naroow as a 150cc bike. 120 for rear and 100 for front is better size for this bike. Skids wheel while braking. Some times slip the tyre in wet road.
- Rear Suspension: It is not good. Feeling more jerk. Not perform well in bad road.
- Brakes: Not good. Need to more effective braking system. Braking distance is larger than other 150cc bike.

I have write this review from my experiences, May not meet anyone else.

At the end I want say, every bike has some negative features. I think this bike is a best value for money. I am very well with this bike.
