The amount of power tells how fast work can be done, for this reason good power is very important for every type of vehicle as well as motorcycle. Max power of a motorcycle means how much power the engine can throughout. Good max power is very helpful to maintain max speed and as well as to bear weight on it. Max power of a motorcycle is expressed in kilowatt (KW), Brake Horse Power (BHP) and German horse power (PS) PS=Pferdestärken. These three units of max power can be converted among each other.

Full figure of BHP is Brake Horse power. Horse power is a unit of measurement of power. There are many different standards and types of horsepower among them Brake horse power is existing. Brake horse power means the actual or useful horsepower of an engine which means it is the measure of an engine's horsepower before the loss in power caused by the braking, frictions and other obstacles.

Kilowatt (KW) is a unit of power equal to 1,000 watts which is the amount of energy converted if work is done at an average rate of one thousand watts for one hour. This unit is used to express the max power of a motorcycle along with BHP.

Pferdestarken (PS) is Germany language. PS is a unit of measurement of horse power.
