RPM (Rotation per minute)

Revolutions or rotation per minute is the elaborated form of a very common word which is known as RPM. Rotation per minute or RMP is a measure of the frequency of rotation, specifically the number of rotations around a fixed axis in one minute. It is used as a measure of rotational speed of a mechanical element such as motorcycle torque or motorcycle max power. For an example we can see max power of a motorcycle is expressed like this, 13 BHP@ 8000 rpm. That means this motorcycle can give 13 BHP power at 8000 rotation per minute.
