Atlas Bangladesh Limited started its privately owned business with Honda Motor Company Limited in 1966. At the very begging the scenario was different. In 1966 by the name of Atlas Shipping Agency, later on, it becomes Atlas Shipping Lines Limited. Atlas Line is the pioneering International Shipping and first Ocean-Going Vessel (OGV) owner in the shipping industry of Bangladesh.After the independence of Bangladesh in 1972, this company formed a venture, namely Atlas Bangladesh Limited. ABL was nationalized and Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation (BSEC) was established under the Ministry of Industries. Volatile environments, dynamic markets, and rapid industrial developments have now become a global state of nature. Regardless, Atlas Line thrive in cultivating prosperous, long-term commitments delivering a range of services adapted to meet their specific needs and atlas tries to provide all of the mentioned terms to their partners. ABL started business with Hero Honda in 1993 to start their work in the two wheeler sector. In 2011, Honda (Japan) and Hero (India) Honda cut off their partnership. Now Honda (Japan) and Hero (India) are conducting their business separately by establishing their own companies. Currently ABL starts its business with Johnson Motorcycle Company, China. Meanwhile, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Atlas Bangladesh Limited and Corporate Partner of TVS Auto Bangladesh Limited on 24-05-2018.

Nowadays, atlas Bangladesh is manufacturing and assembling their own products for the country people and offering them in a sensible price range. However, due to the price, Atlas Junction is not very successful on the first go with its own bike products, although the brand is improving day by day.
