This vehicle is built up with different types of body parts. Such as engine, different body materials, lights, suspensions tiers etc. Among these body parts motorbike tiers are one of the important thing. Because good tiers can save a riders important life at dangerous situation. That’s why different category motorcycle are built up with different types of tiers.
How important motorcycle tire is?
Tiers are one of the most important thing of a motorbike. Both tiers of a motorcycle ensures the connection between surface and the motorcycle, suspension behavior, braking, fuel economy, noise and comfortable ride. Without good tiers many dangerous accident may occur. For this better tier can give better service to the riders.
Types of motorcycle tires
Motorcycle tyres are available for many different conditions and different category motorcycles. Including sports bike, sport touring motorcycle, touring motorcycle, Cruiser motorcycle, on/off road and racing etc. so let’s see these tiers type one by one from the bellow discussion.
Sports bike tires
Sports bike tiers offer the highest of levels of road grip for cornering. These tiers can serve the same at the high temperatures at which these tyres generally operated at the racing tracks. But these tiers may last 1,000 miles (1,600km) or less. The durability of these tiers are not so well.
Sports touring tiers
Sports touring tiers are generally not used for high cornering and curved roads, but for long straight roads these tiers are good for riding across the country. Because these tiers do not has much road gripping as sports tier, these tiers can skid at road cornering.
Sports street tires
Sports street tiers are for aggressive street riders. Riders of this motorcycles ride spend their time carving corners on public roadways. So at that type of situation these tiers help them much. These tyres do not have a long life, but in turn have better traction in high speed cornering. Street and sport street tiers are very good at every type of weather.
Track or racing tires
These tiers are built up for racing tracks. These tiers are made with softer rubber then the others. Because of this reason These tiers give much traction at the warm temperature and wet type situation. But these tiers provide good speed.
Off road tires
Off road tiers are made with knobby, deep treads for maximum grip on loose dirt, mud, sand, or gravel; such tiers tend to be less stable on paved surfaces. This tire does not skid much and these tiers are able to prevent hydroplaning also.
Touring or cruiser bike tires
These tires are usually made of harder rubber for good durability. These tiers are especially for long driving and safe journey. Aggressive bike riding or racing can be dangerous with these tiers because these tiers does not carry good road grip. But there is no doubt about the durability of these tiers.
So from the above information we can see that there are several types of motorcycle tiers which are used at different roads, situation and motorcycles.
