Besides, on the north side of the mosque premises is the shrine of Hazrat Shahdaula and his five companions. Nasiruddin Nasrat Shah, son of the independent Sultan of Bengal Alauddin Hussain Shah, dug a lake in front of the mosque for public welfare. Adjacent to the Shahi Mosque, the lake is on 52 bighas of land. There are rows of coconut trees around this tank. Every year during the winter, the area becomes famous for the chirping of innumerable guest birds.

It is very easy to reach the Bagha Masjid riding a bike. From Rajshahi city you have to take the Rajshahi-Natore highway through Talaimari. On the Rajshahi-Natore highway, you will come across the Belpukur rail crossing and then 3 km to reach a huge market called Baneshwar Bazar. This Baneshwar market is very famous for buying and selling mangoes. From this Baneshwar Bazar to Natore, there will be a traffic turn in front. If you look to the right hand side from that traffic turn, you will see that a road has gone which has stopped at Charghat, Bagha, Lalpur and Ishwardi. This road is about 22 km long. This is the way you have to go to Bagha Mosque. On the other hand, those who want to go to this mosque from Natore can also come through Lalpur of Natore, or from Baneshwar Bazar to Rajshahi by taking the road on the left hand side at the traffic signal.
