Yamaha motorcycle will be made in Bangladesh

One of the well known Japanese bike brand “Yamaha” and its sole distributor in Bangladesh is ACI Motors and they are to set a factory in Bangladesh is going to open. Here is not only the set up program of bikes rather this factory going to produce Yamaha bikes in next 6 months.

ACI is on the way to locate this factory on the Shreepur of Gazipur. Total area of this factory is 6 Acre. According to the information of ACI, they are investing 100crore right now and later this invests going to be larger. At the first stage they are starting with two models to set up whole in this factory.

To start up the whole factory Yamaha is helping directly to ACI. When asked to Executive Director Yamaha “Subrata Ranjan Das” he said “this is the first time Yamaha is letting a factory to an organization”. As because the motorcycle market is enlarging in Bangladesh and make it bigger, Yamaha is on the way to serve all the materials in this country. He further said that, the whole investment will be done by ACI Motors and its technical partner is Yamaha.

From the information of ACI, in 2018 Yamaha brands motorcycle has been sold around 19 thousands from the market of Bangladesh. Right now, in the year of 2019 they have fixed the target to sell around 19 thousands. So far now Yamaha was surrounded to import and sell readymade bikes by which customers has to count a big amount compare with the others brand. It is good to mention that, readymade bikes has to pay 152% tax same time, if it can be done by the set factory of the same country then this tax amount will down to the 92%.
