Job Responsibilities
Monitor and supervise the activities of commercial department.
Follow up and maintain customs and bonded warehouse Management.
Supervise the all imports & exports through C&F agent & freight forwarders.
Liaison with Banks, Bond Customs, BIDA, BTMA, BEPZA, EPB, BGMEA, VAT office and all others required office.
Monitor the factory related all license renewal activities which are issued from Govt. and non-Govt. organization.
Follow up (Utilization of permission), In-bond and Ex-bond, bonding capacity/import permission, import and
Issuance of Bank Guarantee, N.O.C from bond customs if required release the import consignment.
Monitor import L/C (Foreign & Local), shipment schedule, bank acceptance, fund arrange, liaison with bank for import payment,
Handling Insurance, Co-operation with transportation and all information/data with pipe line status input on software IT.
Co-operates with supplier (Local & Foreign) for shipment schedule and timely shipment related information.
Oversee the export L/C's term and conditions.
Monitoring the export documents prepare and submission, duly collection bank acceptance, export/inland bill purchase/discount, payment schedule, and outstanding / overdue status and proceeds realization.
Monitor bank activities/policy, import (under EDF facilities) and export under bank policy UCP 600.
Comparison with accepted bill & accepted liabilities and liaison with bank for accrue outstanding.
Import (pipe line/transit) & export status, import & export payment schedule, accepted bill & accepted liabilities and allover commercial department related status reporting to Chairman/MD/ED and presentation to monthly and weekly review meeting
