VVA (variable valve actuation)

VVA (variable valve actuation)

The full form of VVA is variable valve actuation. It is used to utilize the maximum capacity of an engine, especially in the case of 150cc bikes in Bangladesh. VVA technology is used to provide the maximum capacity of any higher cc engine. This technology is brought to our country by Yamaha Company with their R15 version 3. The amount of air and fuel required for combustion in an engine is controlled by the opening and closing of the intake valve in the engine. The movement of a valve is determined by the cam level profile. There is a standard cam profile for low to mid RPM and high RPM. The VVA system changes between these two cams based on the engine's RPM. Provides accurate combustion properties for the convenience of low to mid RPM and high RPM. To make it simpler, those bikes that have VVA technology in our country, when they go over 7400 RPM, the intake valve starts to take more air intake through the valve and VVA turns on for better output.
